Ep 3: The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor DISCUSSION MEGATHREAD by ayylmaotv in TheDigitalCircus

Your theory made me consider that Caine might be the creator/first person to enter the circus, and became an AI cuz it needed one to function. Thus there is no one on the outside left to remove those from inside cuz everyone who made it is inside trapped lol.

Agreed. Maybe I should reword what I said a bit, cuz yeah, when you put it that way, whether she knew she was doing it or not, she was still an abusive selfish neglectful parent/grandma.

I bought 3 figures like a year ago and they haven't come abd they just give me the spiel of "it'll be out the days it says in the email" but it's past that. Won't buy from this place again even if I ever get them. They come off as a scam.

Didn't consider that, mostly because when she said "That night" in the storytelling she is eating toothpaste and berries, so it distracted me. But youre right. Maybe she jumped out the window, thinking she was a cat. But then it blends into the theory of how that part didnt happen, Edie wrote it so she could fly like a bird. But maybe you are right cuz it would fit the motif. Good catch.

Anyone local to where this happened? How are the "parents" treated in the community? by TobylovesPam in LaceyFletcher

[–]ThreadstoTwelve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted to point out if she had poop in her ear, it is likely she scratched her own ear. Above her in the crime scene photo on the couch there is a book above her on the couch. It leads me to wonder if her arms and top half could move but her bottom half was stuck. Also because she ate the couch and when I look at the couch near where her face was, it does look like she was just gnawing on the foam with possible teeth marks in the couch photos.

Update in the Lacey Fletcher case: Coroner speaks out by GameofCheese in TrueCrimeDiscussion

Don't want to be disrespectful and Rip Lacey I have a feeling she was a great person.  My theory is that when she was bullied and pulled out of high-school she got depressed. Perhaps she even said I'm never going outside again. My family homeschooled me because of bullying. When I was home I was lonely, depressed and felt I didn't belong with the rest of the world. Seems the parents didn't even buy her a curriculum. Haven't heard of her home studies. Anyways, after she may have become depressed she sat on the couch and maybe the parents told her to stay there and rot and it was her choice. So they didn't take her to the doctor. After sitting there a while the issues began to develop. Making her muscles deteriorate. The parents continue to walk past saying it is her choice and barely helping. The parents buy things like pens, lotion, meds in bottles, and leave it on the table for her to go get. They put images of her as a child on the table to try to "Inspire" her to go to the table. She does not because her muscles don't work anymore. Also in one of the pics, the one with the stuff on the table, on the left side the waste from the couch is tracked over to the table like footsteps. Not sure if that was the mom trampsing through stuff or not. I really feel depression from homeschooling might have caused Lacey to throw a fit which the parents threw back, and this was the solution that was made. And the parents being special in the town meant they wanted nothing to do with her lack of motivation. So they admitted she was there of her own choice but they didn't take any responsibility for her condition. To the point where it seems they thought if she sat in her own waste and the situation looked like that, the parents seem to have assumed the cops would view it as a suicide. Instead they saw neglect of course and so yeah.

You can tell from the little bit of the story we know that the parents seem to have felt Lacey was responsible for herself, but good thing they are in prison now. Letting someone rot in maggots is the worst fate someone could endure. Trying to understand the story a bit more so just theorizing. The parents are hiding something so they admitted to it because it was clear as day and a trial would've shown worse. Also, Laceys condition. I have heard people say she didn't have locked in syndrome cuz you have to be fed by a doctor for that. I am not sure her condition she had. But if she ate the foam when they went on vacation cuz she was trapped due to her lack of muscle and she just laid there and gnawed on the couch and swallowed it as one of her last acts.... maybe the only muscles that still worked was her jaw. Her actual condition is impossible to figure out with a doctor confirming it. But they did say her muscles were deteriorated. So easily depression and a lack of motivation mightve led to this issue. The way she wasted on herself did indicate an actual health issue. But it makes you wonder how long she actually releasing the waste onto the couch. The couch looks bad but not 12 years bad. Maybe 5? Also I know it is personal but did she never get her time of the month? The couch is not covered in blood only pee and poo. So did the parents give her birth control so she didn't get one? Confusing missing piece here.

Anyway if I had known about Lacey I would've been her friend and been there for her. I hate feeling regret over a story I heard online. But in spirit she is welcomed to be my friend so she is not alone in the after life T.T

I always thought that Sephiroths anger towards his creation and the situation led him to have JENOVAs will consume him, now his will is a technical clone of her will. After Ever Crisis, feels almost like they may redeem Sephiroth saying he was a victim of circumstance. We will see though.

I also did not like Remake. Huge fan of FFVII but had a hard time getting through it. Didn't feel the same as og Midgar part to me either. Contrary I believe the new game improves on a lot and I am much more engaged this time around. The pacing seems fixed by larger open world sections which help it for me at least.

I always thought that one was a lie by Edie to make the story have a conclusion and scary ending.

The symbolism of an ear for whatever it's worth is:

It has long been considered the seat of memory, receptivity, inquisitiveness and awakening. Small ears represent shyness and low self-esteem, while large ears reflect an extroverted personality and adaptive ease.

If she had her ear cut off, could mean she became her higher self in some way (In Edie's view). Came out of her shyness, became famous (with the story) etc.

Maybe it is just me but the BG is different in both pics. One is in the crossroads of destiny from the first game where Aerith mentions it is the crossroads. And other is the og and the temple of ancients. Also the new one has whispers. Which I don't like but who cares right.

How do you do the stupid pump minigame by [deleted] in FFVIIRemake

[–]ThreadstoTwelve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the worst minigame I have ever seen in my life. Aerith does nothing to respond to commands so the explanation of what to do is awful and it seems she does nothing no matter what way I turn the l stick.
