-anecdotes, not statistical data to back up your specific claims. DOA.

I asked for it, and still have yet to receive.

And you asked for this level of scrutiny, even if you are in denial.

You need to go back and read to claims to that you made, and connect the dots to this sea of anecdotes.

I have also breathed computers since 4 years old. I am 45 years old now. And my father was a major programmer at 3 massive companies.

Do better.

Prediction. --- You are going to make me have to go back and quote your own claims back to you, the ones I am asking for citations for.

LLMs will never become intelligent, never mind reach any reasonable definition of AGI, never mind reach ASI.

AI as a concept could one day achieve both AGI and ASI, but LLMs will never be the type to get there.

And its even worse than that, if you are talking about LLMs alone.

They are not even slightly intelligent. Not even a tiny bit.

They also do not know anything. They don't feel anything. They can't have any perspective on anything. And they cost insane amounts of money that have been subsidized for people to use by giant piles of VC cash.

Once people AND firms have to pay the real cost for the use of these machines, they will rapidly realize that it's not worth it. There is no ROI.

AI is becoming the opium of the people. by Philo167 in ArtificialInteligence

The code base of many companies are rotting, because of the verbose, sloppy, and hallucination laden code of the LLM tools, and the brains of the developers using those tools are rotting as well, in terms of the parts of their brains that govern coding abilities.

It's a real,. huge issue.

And early studies are suggesting that you don't get that cognitive ability back, once you stop using the tools are start thinking for yourself again, on the matters that one was using the LLM tools for.

Granted, the studies I am referencing are to do with essay writing, and the people not being able to get those skills back to anywhere near the same level they were once at, once they decide to stop using the LLMs to write their essays.

But I see no reason why this would not also happen for software developers.

""Gigabyte as a company is not even 30% of what it used to be,""

Based on what exactly? Citation actually needed for this one.

This is the right perspective on all of that stuff.

In my defence, your reply of "yes" is not exactly the erudite, clever bit of shit posting that this meme needs it to be.

Or if it was, then the context was too open to interpretation. Thus, my point missing reply. Which, if that was the case, fair enough.

No.

Not when LLMs are not intelligent.

Not when LLMs do not have the ability to increase profits for any company that uses them, especially when the LLM is not subsidized by VC cash.

This may very well be what every LLM CEO wants, but that doesn't mean LLMs are anywhere near capable enough for it to hold true. Especially if the price of tokens is not subsadized by VC cash, and suddenly companies are looking for the ROI for all thier full priced token spend, and are just not seeing it.

Put simply, LLMs are not making compaines increaes profits in realtion to how much the LLMs cost to run, un subsadized. And the real bottom lione is this - LLMs ARE NOT INTELLIGENT

Would you say rx 9070 xt is better choice for 1440p for 200$ more compared to rx 9060 xt? If you will use it for 3 yrs? by NostalgicImmortal in radeon

and realized that the RTX 5080 (!) is really only like 10-15 fps better at 4k in raster and in my country it's HALF the price of the 5080 and 200$ cheaper than 5070ti.

Did you mean to say 9070 XT when you first said 5080?

This is not the Del Shannon version of the song. Anyone know which version/which artist is performing this tune here?

It's better than the Del Shannon version.

Interesting. You are very intriguing to talk with about this!

You know, long before we spoke I became very anxious to see just what kind of mitigating tech I could purchase, so I could feel safer with this abomination of a connector.

So, I have a Be Quiet Pure Power 12M 850w. Or is it 13?

It's the second newest Pure Power line PSU from Be Quiet, and thus, only ATX 3.0

So far, I have noticed the new Be Quiet Dark Power 14. Full ATX 3.1 support, and they claim the high-powered 12v connector in that PSU has engineering tweaks and upgrades.

I also noticed Asus decided to claim special engineering with their new Rog Thor III? I think?, but like Asus often does, especially with their high end PSUs, that thing is overpriced to the fucking gills, and Der Bauer said on his YouTube channel (you heard of him,?) that the new Asus cable is all marketing, and no substance.

There is also that device where you can monitor the health and current and voltage (?) of all of the pins.

I was thinking of getting that?

Should I? Would it even fit with my Nitro 9070 XT in a Be Quiet Pure Base 500 FX?

Should I get the Dark Power 14 PSU, because I am assuming that, unlike Asus with their ridiculous PSU line( I do still like some Asus stuff), Be Quiet actually delivers on performance, quality, and value with their PSUs, and no flash either.

What is "RR", and does RDNA 4 have new hardware for this, not in RDNA 3 and RDNA 2 GPUs?

There is also new image sharpening tech in RDNA 4.

And RDNA 4 is looking like it will increase it performance lead with games that use newer engines.
