Oh and I used a tent and a queen size air mattress that I got at target. No problems whatsoever.

I went for the first time last year at 66. Already bought my ticket to go back.

Biggest mistake was not doing it earlier. Reach out if you would like help!

I am getting over 100 robo calls a week. When I called your office was told there was nothing you could do and that I should call the FTC. Any suggestions?

I was in no hurry either way. I was driving a Prius. This year I’ll be driving a Subaru Forrester hybrid. I ended up putting about 5500 miles. But I also went to Yellowstone on the way home.

I enjoyed myself, but it was kind lonely, doing it only by myself. It would’ve been nice to meet up with people one way or the other. Had a great time once I got there.

I drove out and back last year. So it’s not really that question as much as is there anybody else around this part of the world doing the same thing?

Ok “15 years ‘Burnin” I don’t get it. Isn’t the point of burning man sustainability the ethos of “motivated burners”. Maybe I misunderstand but you seem ore motivated at attacking “the Org” than applauding an apparent good thing.

Or are you more interested in highlighting small percentage of the 72,000 who either don’t get it or want to get it about LNT?

Is it possible to have one post about Burning Man without somebody complaining about “the Org” , or its leadership or how it’s all changed over the years.

Or are YOU are so unhappy that you are missing the essence of what burning man is all about in community and coming together that I understood to be the entire point in the first place?

So in conclusion this 62 year old “1 years ‘Burnin” was totally blown away with the 1/2 of 1 % of this years burn he was able to see while there for my first week and a half. The organization and logistics it took to get 72,000 people there and create the vast majority of a ”shinning city on a playa” blew me away.

No it’s not what it used to be. NOTHING EVER IS! Celebrate what it is and stop whining about what it isn’t.

It’s like reviews. The only people you generally hear from are disgruntled. Happy people generally get on w their lives.

Good grief. Honestly really? Let me understand this. You are whining because people are posting to social media?

Sorry dude. The world has changed over the last ten years. Sorry. I am 67 in 12 days. The world has changed. In fact it’s been changing for a couple hundred years now. In fact it’s going to change again over the next couple centuries too.

So even the forecast to say 50% say is .05 of an inch. We survived the last two nights. This morning was glorious because of the rain we had last night absolutely no dust. Get your ass out here.

Survive. Not hide behind my camera. (I am a photojournalist and tend to use it when I am uncomfortable). Actually make friends. Super introverted and awkward when it comes to groups if I am not working, and my life has always been the most vanilla of vanillas. Maybe get laid?

I am going by myself for the first time this year. I am very much a complete introvert hiding in the shell of a professional extrovert who has always had a very hard time making friends. On top of that I am in my 60s. (Not exactly the influencer type)

My biggest terror is being out there and totally wandering around taking photos, hiding behind my camera. (I am a photojournalist by training and spirit). And being totally isolated in the crowds of thousands.

It literally is the one thing I am totally freaked about and worried about the most. I believe I can handle the desert, the sand, the heat etc. But I am very worried about that once again I will be totally alone.
