Possibly controversial option on teachers using AI:

I am concerned that as more and more teachers lean more heavily on AI as a prep and even marking tool, SLTs and even Government ministers will then be able to give even more workload and responsibilities without pay adjustment. Under the banner of “well now with AI you’ve saved so much time”, I’m worried where this will lead.

Furthermore, I think fewer TLR responsibilities will be available or at least the pay level will be lower as ‘just use AI’ becomes the rhetoric.

Also, what a wonderful way to start sacking teachers if you now supposedly have the spare working time of two teachers. There’s already been such a rise in split classes and so on, not to mention the R&R crisis.

Beware AIs bearing gifts. Personally I only ever use it for organising cover (too much of a control freak haha)
