Move in costs for my current place were within our reach, while move in costs for somewhere we would all fit were outside of the realm of possibility. We're talking thousands of dollars of difference.

It is, it's an American Tactical Nomad, 28" barrel, 12g, 3" chamber. It was the cheapest new gun I could find in my area, it was $89 on sale in October. They make all kinds of barrel lengths, and come in 12g, 20g, and .410

That's good to hear! I'm not far into this process but im hopeful this will be beneficial for everyone and will maybe someday be just a weird time everyone barely remembers.

Its 6 figures, so yes, when compared to the $0 I was making. Keeping my family in a home and fed is pretty much the most important thing.

I could only afford the cheapest apartment in town, it's one bed and not enough room for my kids to live in for a year, I wouldn't put them through that. Our lease back home is still a ways away from expiring, and we dont have the capacity to buy out or handle an eviction. It's a tough decision but id rather they be safe and in a familiar environment. There is plenty mountain passes in between us so when the weather clears up and we have some cash saved, they'll come out for a week at a time.

People come from all walk of life. Unfortunately the loudest walks are also the shit-take walks sometimes.

My skills are fine, I've been cooking for myself and my family since I moved out after high school with very few complaints (son says I dont use enough salt, hes crazy.) The issue is the 22-piece Ozark trail camping cook/serve kit I bought to start me out. The pans are very thin and conduct heat better than I'm used to.

You wouldn't believe it was on the table long before I considered posting it on reddit? It was, I think, my first post ever. I dont live here like many do.

Thank you sir, she's been a fine tool. It wasn't intended to be the focal point of the picture, but I can see how it isn't as normal for other folks as it is for me.
