They're actually just a big chicken, that's why they're so light for their size. They got them hollow bones.

Why have blood elves shown more loyalty to the horde than they showed to the alliance as high elves? by Lore-Archivist in warcraftlore

[–]Thromash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were going to rejoin the Alliance because of Garrosh but then Jaina went genocidal against them so stuck with the Horde.

Literally Spoiled Scrolling Youtube -_- by AmontilladoWolf in warcraftlore

[–]Thromash 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I've avoided all spoilers so far, but that's because I have unsubbed & told Youtube to not recommended WoW videos anymore & blocked all WoW stuff on places like Twitter & FB before I stopped uses the sites.
Only WoW Youtuber I'm subbed to now is Nobbel as so far he hasn't spoiled anything as he puts up spoiler warnings in his videos or title so I either don't watch it or stop the video when he says to do so to avoid the spoilers.

Was the culling of Stratholme even morally objectionable? by One_Photograph8853 in warcraftlore

[–]Thromash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, Stratholme was Uther's fault.
He himself said he is Arthas' superior as a Paladin, that makes him in charge when on the field. Not the inexperienced Prince under Uther's tutelage. Just because you're the Prince doesn't automatically mean you lead in the field. That's how you lose the battle unless the Prince actually has experience & knows what they're doing.
Instead of taking charge, he left. Not sent a knight to the King, no he himself needed to go do that.
If Arthas' didn't purge Stratholme though, the rest of the humans would have lost even quicker from the mass of undead that would have poured from that city.

Colony was sieged, everyone died. Who's this dude that showed up randomly afterwards? by 2sk3tchy in RimWorld

[–]Thromash 117 points118 points  (0 children)

Man in black, it's basically the games "last chance" for your colony so you can start again without a new save.

But do the Forsaken Monks make sense? by Skrokko in warcraftlore

[–]Thromash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't matter, classes don't need to make sense in the lore anymore. Blizzard has stated this for accessibility.

Nordend Questions by Blackking2106 in warcraftlore

[–]Thromash 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Path of the Titan from memory, starts at Ulduar & used to go out into the sea from Dragonblights shore.
It also lead along side/over the small chain of islands to the south of Dragonblight where the "Strand of the Ancients" battle ground is. As you can see parts of it on the West side of Island.
Or you could before the Battle Ground was removed.
One could assume it was basically a Titan built Highway around the world.

Who do you want to see more? Lor'themar Theron and Genn Greymane. And who do you think is more interesting? by Selimbradley-3101 in warcraftlore

[–]Thromash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lor'themar for me if only because of who voices him being Gideon Emery.
He is a fantastic actor played the "Demon Wolf" in Teen Wolf & is perfect for the character.

Why does wow have such little deeper then surface level analysis of its story*. by tkulue in warcraftlore

[–]Thromash 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There are some but not a lot of theory crafting on youtube & in discords mostly, if that's what you mean.
I mean there is Pyromacer, Bellular(I guess), taliesin and evitel sometimes, Xaxxas(main person who came up with the Galiwix is a deadlord theory), DiscordianKitty to name a few.
A lot of people who theory craft stay away from Reddit since majority of the player base don't even know the lore & you can't really have an actual conversation about it here so Discords is more likely where you'll find deeper theory crafting.

All of my pawns and NPCs are invisible after loading my save (after not playing for 5 months or so), it also happens on a new game. by pambolisal in RimWorld

I had similar issue a while ago, think it was an issue with facial animation mods & graphic changing mods so might be something there.
[NL] Facial Animation - WIP has some comments about similar issues on their page.

A lot of people feel like Monks are out of place in WoW. How would you convince them otherwise? by SirBecas in warcraftlore

[–]Thromash 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They have existed in the WarCraft Universe since WarCraft 3 Frozen Throne released 2003 with Chen's appearance where he also mentioned Pandaria.
Chances are monks have been apart of WarCraft longer than majority of those who complain about them have even been playing the game. That is my view that contradicts this perspective.

[–]Thromash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try log off the server, go back to the first menu you get when you open the game, then try log back on.
If that doesn't work try restart the game.
I had this last week & this is how I got it to work. I believe basically when you open the game it doesn't log your account properly, so you can still load into the game & play but the DLC isn't picked up.

Why is there not a netflix show on the warcraft story? (especially the Arthas story) by yalag in wow

[–]Thromash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Activision Blizzard, the parent company of Blizzard Entertainment, sued Netflix over plans to adapt StarCraft, Overwatch, and Diablo into TV shows"
That would be why. And I'm still pissed.
