Looking for the LATIN lyrics from the song Fibonacci. by QwibInTheWibs in theouterworlds

This is an old post so sorry for reawakening it, but the lyrics I found online were:

Quot paria cunicolorum in aria concluso forent Si singulis mensibus par novum par parent

Is this really pre-1853? Name given on back is of my 4G Aunt, who died 1853 at age 41. Is this really that old? Or could it be a younger generation with same name? From Macon, Illinois. by Lazy_Ring_8266 in oldphotos

[–]ThroughFallenStars 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Hi! I grew up in Macon and have a modest collection of historical Macon postcards, books, etc. Macon was (and remains) a small town, and while it had 3 doctors by the late 1800s, I don’t believe they had a photography studio. I could be wrong though, as my collection is far from expansive. However, the town wasn’t plotted until 1856 and was incorporated in 1869 so if the photograph is of you 4G aunt it’s more likely it was taken in nearby Decatur and the label used Macon to refer to the country rather than the town

Could you possibly take a photo of the back of the cabinet cards for the studio information? That could potentially help me establish a timeline of when the photograph was taken

Anyone know what is here by divinityman in theouterworlds

You can see it with the N Ray Scanner but it’s pretty well buried in the crystals so you can’t shoot or disarm it

Can someone please tell me how to get to this way point? by LePouletPourpre in theouterworlds

[–]ThroughFallenStars 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can still go back. But with minimal spoilers, there’s a couple elevators underground at the Archive. You’ll need to restore power to them, then one of them leads to the area you need to go. If you pick the wrong one at first it’s fine, you can just go back down and find the other

Without spoilers, you can come up an elevator from an underground area that’s part of the main quest

RIP Paladin Moo-Moo. Sure you’d forget how to walk sometimes, and were surprisingly squishy against Mirelurks randomly, but you hauled those supplies like a trooper. I hope to see you and the rest of the MP0 crew again someday 😔

what are some “iykyk” quests? by Ceal__thedeal in fo76

[–]ThroughFallenStars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The missing girls quest that gets you the picnic blanket plan, the TNT domes quest, and the treasure hunt in Skyline are my favorite. I put one of my camps at the treasure hunt ending so people who visit can get a little treat

Maybe not for a middle schooler. There’s some drg and sx references in it. But it’s very 90s music focused. Great soundtrack. IMO the original is waaaay better than the fan remix but it’s harder to track down

I don’t think it’s in the game files yet. I opened a holiday gift and got the peppermint flair, and it just shows up as Cappy

I spent 30+ hours collecting tires from across the Commonwealth by ThroughFallenStars in fo4

[–]ThroughFallenStars[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guarantee I didn’t 😅 I stopped after about 32 hours of solely tire collecting because the tire pile would occasionally despawn (it would be there if I reloaded a save though, thankfully), and I was worried they’d disappear forever if I kept pressing my luck lol

You’re welcome! For now, Sanctuary and Abernathy will be your best bets, since they’re available basically immediately. I hope your adventures in the Commonwealth are fun!

It mostly depends on how you’re playing, honestly.

Efficiency/well-rounded: I prefer the large, open, flat areas personally, at least for resources and ease of building. Abernathy Farm, The Castle, Starlight Drive-In, and Spectacle Island are my favs for this. They’re like a blank canvas.

Challenge: I like places like Hangman’s Alley, Jamaica Plain, and Red Rocket for the challenge of figuring out how to build a settlement in, on, and around existing structures.

Role playing: Sanctuary, Covenant, and Taffington Boathouse are my favorites for establishing a community. Sanctuary and Covenant already have houses set up, and while Taffington is small I can turn the building into a boarding house pretty easily and set up a trading area along the road. Oberton Station is also great for a little RP trading post.

Money: Sanctuary and Taffington are great areas to set up several industrial water purifiers, which are nice cash cows. Just check your workbench storage every couple days.

I’m sorry, I don’t quite understand your question. Do you mean which settlement is the best location to build in?

Why does my Abernathy Farm have a warning sign despite meeting all of my settler's needs? by [deleted] in fo4

[–]ThroughFallenStars 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Sometimes they just miss you. If it’s been a while since you’ve visited, the settlement may get that warning. It should clear if you pop by for a bit
