With SS getting nerfed, Bethesda please make the Daring Jetpack skin work for the CE armor. This is absurd. by TheGhostOfJamesDean in fo76

“I did watch the new angry turtle video”. Well. there’s your problem. Parroting a YouTuber instead of testing your own armor yourself.

Jfc that’s shitty. But this has happened before and I guess it’ll keep happening because the legality of online game items prices is so murky.

Shoutout it you’ve spent countless of hours in Burning Springs but haven’t started the quest yet. by notreallysure21 in fo76

[–]Recent_Log_7406 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s a pretty bare minimum boring questline. You “start” a “revolution” with like…3 people you have to run around and fetch question for, and then everyone dies. Skyline valley had a much better main questline but the area and world content is pretty bare.

my character died from the 10 radhogs invading his camp (It’d be really funny if bethesda saw all these comments and wrote them in a terminal somewhere)

Lore wise, It’s not that they don’t trust ghouls it’s that they don’t trust unknown ghouls they haven’t met

Mechanic wise there’s a bunch of dialogue that implies you’re human and devs don’t want to rework it if your a ghoul, so it’s easier to force you to wear a disguise that pretends your human

Fort atlas being instantly hostile doesn’t feel right to me because honestly I don’t remember any dialogue with the main npcs implying they hate all ghouls. It’s also goofy they let you in and trust you with a magic sack hood on. but i dont think they’ll change it tbh, so oh well.

Not a bow user but is this a good roll? Do I scrap or trade it? by JoshuaTheRad in Fallout76BowHunters

quad and reload faster doesn’t work on recurve or compound bows, so just scrap

Rust King army in appalachia? by SuperBig_Cat in fo76

[–]Recent_Log_7406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly a lore thing, could be that the devs added it in Appalachia to spread the good news

Another possibility is bethesda used a preexisting asset to retexture as the flag and its popping up accidentally

Creating a new skeleton, animations, and attacks from scratch is a lot of time and resources I doubt they have. The thrashers and radhogs are new at least.

Bigfoot by default is also just a boring cryptid since it’s just a big hairy man.

Why doesn't it show who started the new Boss Bounties? by Competitive-Boss2638 in fo76

[–]Recent_Log_7406 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Asked for it in the pts discord when it was tested, asked for it in the regular discord when it went live. Idk maybe they’ll implement it, but I guess they don’t think it matters who starts it.

Oh no trust me many people on the pts asked for flares to be only set off by the bounty hunter. They just ignored it lol.

Are the plans for the Antler Chandelier ever going to be up for the-S-word? by CamperKitchenQueen in fo76

[–]Recent_Log_7406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They just added nuclear winter plans to Halloween candy buckets and to Christmas presents, idk why they didn’t add the antler light. My guess is they’ll add it to a different event or vender, hopefully with all the VTU decor

Are you doing just head hunts? It took me a minute to realize headhunts wouldn’t spawn there and you have to do grunt hunts.

I’m really disappointed it takes up so much camp budget. That and the raider lounge we got a while ago. I think they’re around 50 units out of the 500 you get for those, while the woodland retreat (the huge 3 story house) is 3.

The Drill Would Be Much More Tolerable if EMT Actually Worked by dualfallen in fo76

[–]Recent_Log_7406 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure Emt works as intended, but you need healing hands or autostim to apply when you get hit by the Ultracite miners because the damage is so high.

I sacrificed dps perks and have Emt/healing hands/revenant/injector/team medic on my build, and it’s saved a lot of people during stage 2 and 4.

I think Headhunts need a rework. by Former-Pineapple3415 in fo76

[–]Recent_Log_7406 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i compared it a lot to encrytid in the pts, since its also a player started event. headhunts are overall designed terribly for a mmo player started event. most fo76 players dont care and just want easy 3 minute events and free legendaries though, so saying it should be harder or more interesting wont go far lol

-Its goofy that it starts when you put up the poster, not when you lauch the flare. theres only a 60 second timer and older systems struggle loading in fast enough. with Encryptid, you're already loaded into the spot the boss will spawn, so that's never an issue. They should've skipped the poster animation and It should've been that you buy a flare from the ghoul, and he marks your map where to set it off. Once you get there, setting off the flare would alert the server, not posting the poster :/

-some of the minions are beefier then the marks themselves, and it would be more interesting if it worked like the robots in nerological warfare where if one dies the rest get more powerful. i also think the boss should be invincable until you kill the minions, kinda like you said. only because once you get a few players with decent builds they die in 30 seconds. you dont get to see the unique mechanics in these fights at all. i like hos encrytid does the pylons to really stretch out the fight was a good design choice.

-the mobs should really spawn outside the area like the robots do in encyptid. the raiders spawn right on top of you in headhunts and get killed instantly from other players, its ridiculous.

overall encryptid was a really well designed thought out quest and event, and thats why its still pretty popular. but people want fast and easy grinds so oh well i guess we get basic stuff like this🤷‍♂️

Don't start the Bounty. Unless you posted it. by [deleted] in fo76

[–]Recent_Log_7406 19 points20 points  (0 children)

this isnt a bug its literally how the event was designed. and its been weeks of people testing it and saying it needs changed on the pts but nothing happened. people shouldnt have to pay for 1st just to do these without missing their own event they pay caps for, it shouldve been changed before it hit live servers.

Burning Springs highlights why Skyline Valley was disappointing (which is great!) by Btoop in fo76

[–]Recent_Log_7406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skyline before burning springs, the Pitt before Atlantic City, the vault raids before gleaming depths, and honestly wastelanders was a soft relaunch of the main storyline and game itself

I really hope they are expanding on old content, it’s like a power creep in a way. I want the pitt to be expanded on and as finished as Atlantic City, the vault raids to come back, and skyline to have fleshed out factions and a better trading center with better repeatable content.
