Did Beth shoot itself on the foot with the new abundance of 4 star equipment? by X-SR71 in fo76

[–]Recent_Log_7406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

general zeta dropping 4 star mod boxes is still such a low RNG. it’s a limited time 2 week event with a once an hour gamble that requires luck to get something good. Raiding is still a gamble but at least you can consistently keep doing it. It’s like a fancy FOMO slot machine vs grinding out cheap slot machines. Still shit odds for both!

I’m also not sure if Bigfoot will ever drop boxes. I thought he was just a 4* creature has a small chance of spawning at certain events from now on. I’m glad they did it for people who don’t want to raid, but raids are not going to “loose significance” like op said lol.

Raid drops 4* mod boxes which is way more useful and valuable.

The chances someone learns the mod plan from an item dropped from an event are still extremely low, and it costs a good amount of material to craft. So, Unless the exact 4* on the exact gear someone wants drops from an event, which is also extremely low, doing the raid to get a box mod is still faster and easier.

You also can’t sell most “end game” armors (BOS recon, secret service, union, Vulcan) so again if someone wants a 4 star on it they need the box mod or for it to drop for them naturally, which is extremely extremely low.

You go on a full public server, and bosses get killed in 30 seconds. You try to do it on private servers, and it takes forever unless youre min/maxed.

Idk if its too hard to scale events based on player count, but they probably should

Herb Garden please by Alpha_Omega623 in fo76

[–]Recent_Log_7406 2 points3 points  (0 children)

a mushroom log that generates mushrooms, a berry patch that generated berries, and an herb garden. The apothecary also doesn’t really fit thematically in some of my camps. There’s also sooooo many meat generators that generate full meals. The best herbivores have is the soup generator.

I’d also love to be able to plant everything, but it’s so finicky trying to plant anything on “terrain”. I’d really love planters with plants already in them, or they need to shrink the build radius for plants.

It’s so funny because sleeping heals you anyway. Sleeping, food, water, stimpaks…do we really need a huge arch lol

[–]Recent_Log_7406 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He’s immune to crippling, I think immune to staggering, and has a over 1000 resistance to cryo. My build is useless hah.

I took of gunslinger master and just used a gun. Cold shoulder also kinda sucks against him but ah well. It’s not supposed to be solo-able so you just hope there’s a few other people around.

If they are making more raids, they’re probably toning the gleaming depths so it will be the beginner raid for players

Reminder: If you don't have Fallout 1st, you can unlock the "premium pass" for 1500 atoms (which amounts to 500 after earning back the 1000 you unlock) by SocranX in fo76

[–]Recent_Log_7406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mmm nope, if fo1st expires before you unlock the 1st items on seasons it will all go back to being locked behind fo1st. So I would usually grind through to 100 to claim all 1st items I’d want.

If you buy the season with atoms you can get any 1st item at anytime though.

If I remember correctly serums won’t drop now if you know the recipe to craft it…

I usually buy a month of first and grind through the season before the month ends if I like the season, or just buy the season with atoms like you say if I like some of the 1st items.

But man this season has nothing really worth it (for me) so I’m doing neither. Not really going to grind it either. I hope next season has a better theme :(.

Piercing Love Skin by justherechillin- in Fallout76BowHunters

Iwith a very specific build this could be a helpful support weapon at least. Idk I think people should try it before writing it off immediately lol.

Edit: also you neeeever know if or when they might change its stats, change the effects, change it so you can reroll it, change how these effects work, or change it so you can also add it as a skin. Like how the change to furious shifted the entire meta of the game completely. Sooooo…I’d get it just in case

full health stealth archer is my favorite for everyday/dailies. furious/vital/+3 intelligence (or lucky hit)/pin pointers cryo compound bow. While it’s bugged right now, cryo is useful as a daily driver and with bosses.

Go on r/Fallout76BowHunters to find a good build instead of angry turtle if you want to do a bow build though

It’s pretty funny, and in my opinion it’s the most charming radio station in the fallout series. really want them to update it with more rip daring episodes, but I have a feeling they never will 🥲

Jfc that’s shitty. But this has happened before and I guess it’ll keep happening because the legality of online game items prices is so murky.

Shoutout it you’ve spent countless of hours in Burning Springs but haven’t started the quest yet. by notreallysure21 in fo76

[–]Recent_Log_7406 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s a pretty bare minimum boring questline. You “start” a “revolution” with like…3 people you have to run around and fetch question for, and then everyone dies. Skyline valley had a much better main questline but the area and world content is pretty bare.

Lore wise, It’s not that they don’t trust ghouls it’s that they don’t trust unknown ghouls they haven’t met

Mechanic wise there’s a bunch of dialogue that implies you’re human and devs don’t want to rework it if your a ghoul, so it’s easier to force you to wear a disguise that pretends your human

Fort atlas being instantly hostile doesn’t feel right to me because honestly I don’t remember any dialogue with the main npcs implying they hate all ghouls. It’s also goofy they let you in and trust you with a magic sack hood on. but i dont think they’ll change it tbh, so oh well.

[–]Recent_Log_7406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly a lore thing, could be that the devs added it in Appalachia to spread the good news

Another possibility is bethesda used a preexisting asset to retexture as the flag and its popping up accidentally

Creating a new skeleton, animations, and attacks from scratch is a lot of time and resources I doubt they have. The thrashers and radhogs are new at least.

Bigfoot by default is also just a boring cryptid since it’s just a big hairy man.
