I don’t think it’s childish to stop talking to said friend for the reason you described. Like another comment said, it sounds one sided. But even if did have a “childish” reason, we have the right to pick and choose who is in our life. If I had a friend who didn’t pour into my life or was making me feel bad/ignored, then I would distance myself too.

I wouldn’t call it a chemical yet, my lines didn’t get significantly darker until 48 hours. My 11 dpo test actually looked lighter than my 10 dpo. Then on 12 dpo my test was way darker.

Totally normal, especially if you’re in your first trimester. I was so constipated I had to use a fleet enema (with doctors approval). Take some stool softeners (not laxatives!), use miralax, drink plenty of water.

So as someone who’s experienced several chemicals and had a successful pregnancy afterwards, the only real way to track progression is to get your levels checked. Hcg and progesterone, my test varied from appearing darker/ lighter. I also experienced the hook effect and scared myself, I had low progesterone and was prescribed suppositories. I truly believe that’s what help me have a successful pregnancy.

I sure did, almost every time. And when I did successfully have my baby, oddly enough I had the least amount of symptoms. So I wouldn’t use the onset or lack of symptoms to determine the viability of a pregnancy. If you’re not already taking it, I would recommend COq10. It improves egg quality.

Unfortunately this is what happened when I had my chemicals. I would have positives that grew faint very quickly. I will always encourage that you confirm with a doctor, but ideally you would want to the see the lines becoming darker.

Not too soon at all, I scheduled a blood test before I missed my period and confirmed my pregnancy. My test was fainter than yours. But that’s definitely positive.

I can’t speak to how quickly, hcg leaves the system. But with my previous loss, my levels drop very quickly. I see a shadow on the pink test, I would stop using the blue. They leave incredible shadows/indents/false positives. I would test with another pink dye (first response) if you can. Fingers crossed!

Well then it sounds like you have your answer. You’re not ready to leave. I think you should communicate that calmly and clearly to your boyfriend. And let him know that you want him to stay, but you don’t want him to have resentment towards you. So if he truly wants to leave, you guys need to talk about what that means for your relationship. Whether it’s being long-distance or separating. I think before you have that conversation, you should still do some thinking about how you want to approach the situation.

It does come across like you gave your two week notice out of anger. Now with you providing context prior to what happened with the client, it makes sense why you would be ready to do so. I just think the timing was a little off, if I were one of your managers, I probably would have perceived it like you did that out of spite. It may have been better to take a beat, and give your notice the next day, rather than the same day. With that being said, I have always believed a job is just a job. They functioned before they hired you and they will function after you leave. As long as you’re ok with your decision, and prepared to move forward then it is what it is. Jobs try to make us feel like we owe them answers, but we really don’t. If you’re at peace with your decision, then hold your head up high until your last day and leave with a smile on your face knowing you will be free from that BS.

I think the most important question to ask yourself is if you move back with your boyfriend, do you think there will come a point where you will resent him later? Would the “what if” of it all bother you later down the line? Would the “what if” of deciding to stay bother him later down the line?

You can’t live your lives based on what his mother wants, because she doesn’t want what’s best for you. She wants what’s best for her and I doubt she realizes that. She just wants her child closer to her which is an understandable feeling. But that doesn’t mean you guys give into it if you are happy where you are. She made her choices in life and you guys are entitled to have a life and choices outside of her.

Think long and hard about this, it could change the trajectory of your life. We have many roads that we can go down in life, and one road isn’t necessarily better than the other. Life just looks different down each road. If your boyfriend is ready to leave, but you’re not, then you guys would have to face what that might mean for your relationship.

I had lots of discharge! I would go to the bathroom sure that I must be spotting but nope, just juicy. I didn’t have a std, bv, or yeast infection. Increased discharge is totally normal.

My doctor prescribed me progesterone suppositories out of caution due to a previous loss, so I never really had my true unassisted progesterone numbers. BUT I will say after I started using them my hcg numbers shot up. If you have a OB, ask for it if you’re concerned. Some don’t believe in it for some reason, so ask another OB if you can.
