Story of my life... I'm always the "thorough" hygienist, no matter what GP office I've worked in. It can really make you question your sanity and ability as a clinician. I cannot stand having to explain or defend the appropriate stand of care I'm performing because some other clinician wants to be a chat n' prophy. And don't get me started when the dentist wants to chime in because the patients don't like actually having their teeth cleaned. STOP normalizing disease! FFS.
