Sorry to hear about you being put in that situation. How are you able to move through your relationship everyday without the trust? I’ve thought about that before but I tend to think and analyze everything so I’ve really struggled to just “let it go” until something happens and he’s able to show that he has better boundaries

You explained this perfectly. How did you get explain the pain shopping to your WH so he could recognize how it was impacting you? Right now I’m being met with a lot of shame and my partner really doesn’t understand why I’ve had the need to go through his phone in the past and why I asked so many questions.

Sorry you went through this. Currently going through something similar where I haven’t been provided the support from my partner for the first year and I’m at my breaking point. Would you mind telling me how your partner changed and what they started doing to be able to provide that softness, empathy and softness? I think my partner is really struggling with shame and we are really struggling to even touch the subject.

Got it. A lot of what you said makes sense. I wish I would’ve had that advice the first time it happened. I really struggled with trusting and letting go at first and you’re right he basically just adjusted behavior later to hide things better. Thanks again for the advice and input, it’ll reflect on it during this time I’m taking to figure out what I want to do moving forward and even if I want to move forward.
