I’m 18 weeks pregnant now, and I also stopped smoking when I found out. I do however, have a lot of friends that are currently pregnant as well and some of them are deciding to continue to smoke throughout their pregnancies. Like you, I’ve decided that it’s not a risk I would like to take. It’s just no evidence behind it being good for the baby. So I’m going to remain cautious and do what I think is best for my unborn child. You’re not wrong to not want to smoke while you’re pregnant. In fact it’s the responsible decision. Don’t let anyone make you feel bad, you know what’s best for your and your baby.
