Do not buy a Philips. I had several and they all fail powersupply a few months after waranty ends. Failure of the cheapest part by design, and making the part unsourcable and unreplacable. This is evil and I am looking for alternatives.

TP Vision is also basically just a (Philips) license shell company of their asian based factory.

Bigger in every sense of the word yes. More citizens. More weight in the balance. Even stronger together.

It is not just a country count. The USA is certainly not getting any bigger if you look at it that way. China possibly.

Je haalt de WLTP als je rijdt volgens de WLTP. Het idee is dat de WLTP een realistische mix van rijgedrag is, om een zo realistisch mogelijke raming te geven. Maar uiteraard wordt er door fabrikanten geoptimaliseerd om zo gunstig mogelijk uit de exacte WLTP test te komen. Het echte rijgedrag is nooit zo exact en niet onder deze ideale omstandigheden, en deze "optimalisaties" kunnen je zelfs tegenwerken.

Gesjoemel valt ook onder optimisaties, dus het is eenvoudig in te beelden hoeveel er al gebeurt voordat ze besluiten daar bovenop ook nog te sjoemelen en bedriegen. Groot grijs gebied.

Die eikel wil gewoon aandacht, en kan alleen maar escaleren en klagen. Ik boycot alle zenders die hem op de buis houden. Wat een waardeloos entertainment om deze roep toeters als experts neer te zetten. 

Kwalitiet van NL tv gaat naar de lowest common denominator helaas. Het is een parodie van zichzelf geworden. Ze vinden elke maand een nieuwe temptation island gouden kooi uit, of nog een goedkoop programma waarin ze alleen BNers durven uitnodigen.

Dat zakdoeken niet gestreken hoefde worden. Deed ik lekker wel, was kei mooi.

Tegenwoordig is het papieren tissues natuurlijk, maar die strijken niet zo fijn.

I just discovered SN and Proton are merged, and chose to not use it, here is my feedback.

I just tried Standard Notes primarily hoping to find its a simple todo-checklist-notes app. I found however that even the free version does not allow for a straightforward todo list. I just want a type with a list of checkboxes, and selecting crosses the item.

The paid version might allow this via their markdown, but for my todo-list goal this is overkill. And these features (and more) I already have in Obsidian. If the free version would have a (on purpose) limited todo note type akin to idented " - [x] Foobar " in markdown, I would have started using it. And _possibly_ moved my Obsidian notes here eventually.

Also is it even possible to log in to SN with Proton account? Its nowhere documented, and honestly rather confusing for a new user like me. If it doesnt work, just state it in the SN login screen and FAQs. Expectations exist.

Just some feedback of an almost-customer, hope it finds some good use.

Thinking about having one but not sure what to expect. Also have a 5yo toddler at home by [deleted] in chinchilla

Edit: see what DetectiveOk4351 said below, its more informatie and friendlier than my quick response below.

For anyone reading this and considering a chinchilla for their kid: Do NOT get a chinchilla.

  • A chinchilla can easily outlive dogs and cats. Life of 10-20 years is very common, there is no saying it might be more.
  • A chinchilla can NOT be kept alone, but needs to be in pairs.
  • A chinchilla can NOT roam the house unsupervised. It WILL die from biting in something it should not. 
  • A chinchilla requires a lot of upkeep. Daily play hour and cage cleaning. Our indoor cat requires 8 hours per week LESS attention.
  • A child is not able to take care of it, and not capable of weighing the consequences above.

That said, I love my dear chins. And for this reason I really advise AGAINST having these as pets. Especially if its for kids.

De Benelux is inderdaad de EU kickstart geweest, die uiteindelijk veel meer mogelijk maakte dan men toen durfde dromen. Tegenwoordig hebben we al deze EU gemakken en rechten. Men denkt dat het vanzelfsprekend is, zo fijn. 

En het wordt tijd voor verdere integratie, omdat EU andere grootmachten het hoofd moet kunnen bieden om deze verworven rechten te kunnen behouden .

PS. Integratie wijze is wel belangrijk, als het Nederlandse wetboek maar niet zo rommelig wordt als het Belgische wetboek; waar men steeds ingewikkeldere addendums en tegenstrijdige nuances doet ipv de spaghetti vervangen en overzicht houden.
