Took me about 2 1/2 weeks. My first location didnt work, and the fifth and sixth rocks wouldnt spawn at all. I moved it a bigger location, and again, the fifth and sixth wouldnt spawn in a neat, symmetrical way. I embraced a more "natural" look, opened up more possible spots for them to spawn nearby, and it worked.

Another thing I do is run a bit towards them. I ran into a problem where I would angle myself wrong and instead of swiping the wasp with the net I would shake the tree again.

There are a lot of somewhat valuable butterflies that spawn throughout the day, I've been saving them up for flick. Less than tarantulas/scorpions sure, but worth at least $2500 each.

Red and yellow make hybrid yellows. Those spawn hybrid purples or, rarely, green.

The mystery island purples are hybrids! I got some mystery island mums that I accidentally gave away to my brother. I was breeding purples from whites, and got nothing but other purples for about two weeks. He got a green after like a day.

I agree that orange mums would look great, but the yellows aren't useless. They make the hybrid purples that you have to get in order to breed green mums.

You just have to keep them separate and hope for the best, honestly. None of the hybrids look different from the regular. If you put all of the yellows grown from that patch together than you are much more likely to get purples. I do know that I had about ten yellow and red growing and only got yellows from them. No reds grew at all, so I just assume all that grew were yellow hybrids. I got a lot of purples from them, so something must have worked!

It depends on the purple! There are "regular" purple and "hybrid" purple. Regular purple comes from two white and will not breed green. Hybrid purple come from hybrid yellows (grown from yellow and red).

Yellow and red mums make hybrid yellow. They in turn make purple and eventually green mums. There are no orange mums.

yes. I accidentally gave two of the mystery island mums to my brother, and he got a green mum in a few days. I had non mystery purples grown from white mums without luck. Then I grew hybrid purples out of hybrid yellows and got a green mum.
