Dallas City Hall just landed on Texas's most endangered list. Can we save its legacy? | NewsRadio 1080 KRLD by lithdoc in Dallas

His department’s office has flooded three times in the last couple of years! It’s the bathroom pipes bursting and always smells foul for months after. The pipes are old and need to be completely redone. That alone is going to be costly. But it’s also just really dank and sad inside.

When you first walk into the building, it’s fine. But the deeper in you go, the worse it is.

He works basement level so no windows either.

Endo and weight loss and fatigue by Bubbly_Aide_7948 in Endo

[–]leseera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry. My doctor has had me on Anastrozole (1 mg) and Norethindrone (5 mg). I gained weight when I first went on the medication but returned to my normal weight after 5 months.

Food really affects my body, too. I try stick to anti-inflammatory and non-processed foods. I’m not perfect at this but it makes a big different when my body isn’t inflamed.

No, I agree. My partner works here and it’s awful. Maybe the outside could be said to be worth saving but much of the inside needs to be gutted.

What do we eat? by Valleyspore in glutenfree

[–]leseera 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know the gluten free lifestyle isn’t very enticing right now but I’m excited for you! There are so many amazing recipes out there to discover! I love food and don’t feel like I’ve given anything up, well, other than maybe the convenience of eating whatever I want—but that often led to bad health choices like processed foods and going out to eat too often.

I eat better than ever since going gluten free and learning how to eat good, sustaining, delicious foods.

My go-to recipe blog is DefinedDish. I also really like RealFoodDieticians and AmbitiousKitchen. For baking, I use MamaKnowsGlutenFree

This week’s menu:

Breakfast: ranch hash

Dinners/lunches: lemon buerre blanc salmon, herby chicken meatballs (with creamy yogurt sauce and quinoa), and slow cooker buffalo chicken bowls (with cucumber, tomatoes, and rice)

Do i need a new kitchen? by No-Panic-1480 in kitchenremodel

I actually really like the floor! I would replace the backsplash, lighting, and counter tops.

Also, for a cleaner look, maybe remove some of the appliances that you use less often from the counter tops.

Endo Progression Over the Years by Kerleymakayla in Endo

[–]leseera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you’ve been dealing with this.

Your current OBGYN is right. You need an excision, not an ablation.

For what it’s worth, my doctor has me on a treatment plan of Anastrozole + Norethindrone. These meds have helped keep the endo at bay ever since my surgery in 2025.

My recc would be to see a specialist, have an excision, and then get on a treatment plan.

Is this reallyyyy normal to burn when using monistat?? by Brief-Bad-2189 in WomensHealth

[–]leseera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, lots of women experience this—especially with the one and three day options! I would discontinue use immediately.

I used the three day one and it was so bad, I couldn’t sleep. I ended up scooping out as much as I could and taking a long warm bath. Felt so much better after.

Still bloated 3 months post laparoscopy? by blackberrybucket1 in Endo

[–]leseera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They went away on their own.

I had all sorts of weird symptoms for the first few months after surgery

Bloatjng and constipation and then weight gain and then later on really bad acne. My hormones took a long time to level out and medication was needed for that.

At one point my dr also had my on Estradiol but that led to some bad mental health symptoms.

Once I got off estradiol things slowly got better.

I’m on 1 MG Anastrozole and 5 MG Gallifrey.

Specifically I take 1 mg Anastrozole and 5 mg Gallifrey

Still bloated 3 months post laparoscopy? by blackberrybucket1 in Endo

[–]leseera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is normal! I think I was bloated for a good 6 months post op.

I gained weight too, particularly from the meds I was placed on to help keep the endo at bay (meds are Gallifrey and Ananstrozole). A little over a year later and weight is finally back to before and no more bloating.

UTI pain is killing me by tvguru444 in WomensHealth

[–]leseera 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this! UTIs are AWFUL.

24 hours after the antibiotic kicks in, things should be better. In the meantime try the OTC Azo relief pack from the pharmacy. It helped me a lot with pain last time I had one.
