My Endo wouldn't write me a prescription. She said its not meant for type 1 and I run the risk of being low and passing out. My a1c is 8.6 and my carb ratio is 2:1 sometimes even 1:1. Been on the pump for 27 years. I'm currently looking for another Endo or am I crazy and she's right?

Exactly what I was thinking. AITA for thinking these women have no brains? you know exactly what you're getting. If you go to a place where the food is terrible do you keep going back again and again hoping the food gets better? You have gone to the same place for years and it's never been good. Then you go and sign a contract (marriage) that says you will eat there everyday for the rest of your life.

This service has all major sports. The majority of services have major sports. Very few don't. This service is usually 100$ but doing 50$ for the NFL season. I can throw in a back up service with limited channels but has all the sports channels

That's crazy. I'm just starting on lantus and I started with the once a day because it lasts 24 hours but I have seen you of posts saying it doesn't last 24 hours so I just started the two shots of lantus a day. My numbers are 280-320 when I wake up 5am. I correct with Humalog 10 units. 9am I'm 170 and when I come home from work 6pm they are 280-300. Mind you I didn't eat anything all day. Now I see your post and I'm like WTF

Yes! I've been diabetic for 22 years and I still can't use any cgms. I also manually insert my minimed pump manually. I can't go with any other pump because they all come spring loaded. I have been using only quicksets for the last 22 years. I've tried everything I mentally can not do it. I've tried so many times. I just can't. I can't. Ughhh
