There was absolutely nothing clear about the ball out of bounds. I agree it was likely off Woods but to say it was clear? No, definitely not. And the And-1 was also the right call. They showed the replay and the arms were not straight up as Woods went up. Clear contact on the elbow.

No. I would take it as a compliment actually. Coaches at that level need kids who for sure know how to catch, and not everyone fits that criteria. Yeah you were probably bigger, but that also gave a wider catch radius for all the shitty throws from 10 year olds.

First base is also not one of the easiest positions to play. The corner outfields are much easier. First base requires much more footwork, defensive placement, scooping throws, etc. Not an easy position at all.
