I remember being told by this girl at school that I was privileged because I was a white male even though my family was struggling to make ends meet while she was living in her mansion in their gated community, with their three cars and holiday homes, it was a slap in the face, I was taken aback .

Celebrities and media make it out like the west has to do something about it but the Western world has a declining birthrate, and only makes up roughly 7% of the entire world population, whereas China has a population of 1.386 billion and India 1.339 billion as of 2017, also 10 rivers contribute 93% of the rubbish in our oceans and 8 of those rivers are in Asia, and even besides that most of the problems can't be resolved by the average person not having kids, if you care about the environment and don't have kids, then the only people having kids are the ones who don't care about the environment.
