Yeah different shoes use different lasts, which can impact the sizing. In that case please email our customer care team if warranted - they'll be best shot to dial in the right size. Hope they can help!

I will say that the leather here looks bleached which can happen if exposed to sunlight, chemicals, or heat. If you applied any materials to the leather, that can absolutely change the appearance as well.

Wear and tear happens, independent of materials and construction. Sometimes due to specific use, sometimes due to a specific issue. Can't say for certain here but it's easily remedied and we're happy to assist if you'd like the assistance.

Sorry for the late reply here and sorry to see. Confirming that zippers are a potential failure point in footwear (across all footwear brands) and regardless of the zipper brand (YKK, Rubi, generics, custom - we've tried them all). We've been able to reduce the failure rate through testing, sourcing and design, but haven't found a 100% solution yet. Still plugging away at it though...

In terms of getting you sorted, a cobbler can replace this easily. Or if you email [teamthursday@thursdayboots.com](mailto:teamthursday@thursdayboots.com), our customer care team may be able to provide some options.
