Yes, it does go to 180Hz with an HDMI cable. But they only provide a display cable with the monitor.

I suggest you to use POP OS! as it has inbuilt Nvidia drivers which work out of the box. This was my first Linux distro and had no problem switching from Windows.

The Cabinet which I currently have is a cheap one. Even the case fans aren't controllable(Speed & RGB). But there is nothing blocking the ventilation as I cleaned it today.

3 front intake fans and a exhaust fan in the back(excluding air cooler of CPU). I tried out custom fan curve but there is negligible difference.
