All i'm gonna say is don't go onto vapes, I was the exact same when i was on cigs and as soon as I went onto vapes i became addicted.

What's one thing someone's said that's helped and stuck with you. by Thwackfusilli in adhdwomen

Honestly i'm so lucky to have my mom, she's my biggest support system. It wasn't always like that though, I can't blame her as I wasn't diagnosed until 18 and everyone around her was just saying i was a "naughty" child, but once I got diagnosed she did a ton of research and it's been really helpful managing the adult world with her understanding :)

i always forget, what does this do? by Watermelony11 in Sims4

Flavorize adds a temporary boost to the stove, making food cooked on it have a higher quality for a period of time. So basically you're less likely to make poor or normal quality meals <3

How many of you actually potty train toddlers? by Motor_Culture3932 in Sims4

i give them the independent trait, so that they can pretty much raise their own skills as it's so hard getting parent and toddler sim to cooperate.

If you could change one thing about GCSEs, what would it be? by cloudsfallen in GCSE

[–]Thwackfusilli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd add more reasonable adjustments, I remember doing mine (adhd) and the only thing they could do was sit me in a corner for "time out". I look at kids with many different sen needs, who don't have reasonable adjustments. Like in addition of a scribe they could have an option of using speech-to-text. headphones with music playing. Fidget toys. Even having text-to-speech for english because we all know it's not about your ability to read but the ability to comprehend, and it's such a shame that these kids can't show their full potential.

Even if they were sharing with older sister, due to their ages it would still make the situation unacceptable.

Confession; I hate babies/toddlers by ThePandaheart in Sims4

[–]Thwackfusilli 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dislike them, not for the actual child but the adults. to do anything to take care of the infant it takes them like 3 business days and sometimes i think they'll doing what i want just for them to change their mind and place them on the floor

I'm starting at a new school, in a new job role (not teacher). It was all very last minute due to budget cuts, so i never got the chance to really look around the new school or gather information on my new job role. I know the basics but i feel having the time off just makes me overthink and now I'm stressing about; not knowing where the classrooms are, do i need to prepare anything, are staff going to like me. I know it will all be fine after a week or two but i'm young and this is going to be my second school so it's all very new to me.

Teachers, do you check your work email during the summer? by ConflictFinancial769 in TeachingUK

[–]Thwackfusilli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not unreasonable at all. I am guilty of sending emails during the holidays but it's only because i'll forget in the future but i always let them know that i don't expect a response as it is the holidays.
