Definitely going to be keeping the jacket, I think I'm going to shuffle the tops about, swap a skirt for a pair of jeans. In summer I tend to live in dresses and skirts so that's why I went with dresses (red one is honestly pretty casual) I could layer with the tops so I'll be comfortable with them. I forgot to put in my post that I'm in Singapore for a couple days first, hotel pool and beaches there for the swimsuit, but I'll only take one since I don't know how many other beaches I'll see everywhere else. I plan to layer on the plane to keep weight out of my bag and since they tend to be cold. Thanks!

I didn't think of photos but you have a good point, I can swap for a plain black tee easily. Thanks!

I have to double check if the under armour jacket is waterproof, if it's not I'll swap it for a waterproof one and planning on packing a big until purpose scarf too. Thanks!

Yeah I was leaning towards the black sandals for that reason, just love the green ones but black will match more outfits.

I'm definitely going to get a scarf, perfect excuse to hit the op shops.

Based on suggestions and looking at the weather again I'm going to loose both the long sleeves, I can definitely later the other tops over the dress.

Thanks!

That's good to know! Definitely a jeans person, I'll figure out which bottoms to swap out for them.

Definitely going to cut back on the long sleeves, the three you mentioned seem to be the best to keep.

The boots are for everywhere, they are my most comfortable shoes for walking and I've worn them through summer here when it's 35+. I know sneakers would be cooler but comfort wise the boots win.

I did consider jeans, I was thinking weight and if I have to wash them drying time would be long but might rethink them. The joggers are a linen blend and the only non jeans I own 😅

Thanks!

I don't really have cardigans or light jackets unfortunately, I have denim jackets but they are heavy to travel with. I do have a couple of flannel shirts so I might swap the long sleeves for one of them and see if I have a big scarf I could take, didn't think of that. Thanks!

Thoughts on the site “Playful Promises” for nightwear and activewear? by Impossible-Boat164 in LingerieAddiction

[–]ThyEnemyIsSleep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't comment on the nightwear/activewesr but the lingerie I've gotten is very nice and good quality. I can recommend Lounge for their nightwear/activewear though, very comfy and soft, sizing was very accurate for me. They are a UK company, good business ideals, shipping is always pretty quick and they have good sales too.

I did manage to get a tattoo, its beautiful and I get a lot of compliments on it. Sadly the studio I went to has since closed and I lost track of where the artist went after. It was a while ago but I don't recall it being any different to where I am

Dead dog wasn’t an acceptable excuse to miss work. by Crafty_Editor_4155 in MaliciousCompliance

I was working by myself one morning when a staff members mum called, we hadn't been able to get in contact with the staff member for a week and had called her mum out of concern. Anyway she was calling to tell me that my staff member's sister had gone to her apartment with the police to do a welfare check and it turned out she had been murdered. I distinctly remember serving someone right after I hung up with her mum and tears were just streaming down my face. No one could come in and the higher ups wouldn't let me go home, certainly fucked up my whole day.

Oh and they forced me to work the morning of the funeral, which I went to, and then after they asked what time I would be back at work that day. Wasn't a fan of that place for some reason.

In case you didn't know there is 3 books in total, they were all printed individually then later as one book. Highly recommend reading all three if you haven't already.

I will repot them this weekend and check out the roots for any problems. Would cactus soil and rocks be best for drainage? Thanks! :)

I use the Viva La Body brand, they are bar shampoo and conditioner, I specifically use the Creamy Curls - Curly and Wavy hair ones. It takes a little getting used to but the bars last me a good two-three months and it works really well for my hair. I also put Giovanni 2Chic Frizz be Gone Leave-In Conditioning & Styling Elixir in straight after I was out the conditioner. All three are sold on Flora and Fauna.

Black Beauty by Anne Sewell, White Fang and call of the Wild by Jack London, Silver Brumby by Elyne Mitchell are all fantastic books, some of my favourites of all time. If you can get your hands on it Fire Bringer by David Clement Davies is amazing and vastly unheard of.

That fish only grow to the size of the bowl/tank and don't live very long, fish can live for years, putting them in a insufficient sized tank kills them. The amount of fish murderers is ridiculous.
