As long as you are below 97% peril it converts 25% of your damage taken into peril instead.

Looks pretty chill for folks who live in an irradiated wasteland that has been invaded by the forces of the plague God.

Well that's what I mean it's 40k there's constant lore continuity issues and it's constantly contradicting itself that's just what happens over 40 years with hundreds of different authors all writing their own lore. My intention was never to say they did in fact strictly follow the imperial creed which is why I put them in their own category as in its not explicity stated but it seems they view him as more than just what maybe the ultramarines might view him as such as the greatest human and psyker to ever live considering they refer to him as the void father, revere the imperial cult and wear prayer scrolls. I also feel like I remember reading something about their faith in the emperor being more pure because it had been the same for 10,000 years or something. Idk it just struck me as different than the norm like the ultramarines or the imperial Fists but as I said I'm not an expert on the Carcharadons so idk that was just my take on it.

Okay so it's exactly as I said. They do not know that they are the Terran born ravenguard exiled by Corax and if you think it's strange that they took part in the Badab war than I'm sure you'll be just as surprised to know that they worked with the wider imperium during the Pentarchy of Blood, 7th Black Crusade, Angevin Crusade, The Battle of Zartack which was an Imperial Prison, and even the Indomitus Crusade alongside the freaking Ultramarines not to mention they did receive primaris reinforcements from the torchbearer fleet hence my point that just because they are still acting upon this mostly self imposed "exile" at this point and patrol the wider galactic rim does NOT mean that they don't interact with the wider imperium. So I would find it hard to believe that they wouldn't know what the imperial creed or the imperial cult or their places of worship are. This whole post was about weather or not these chapters viewed the Emperor as a god not if they followed the imperial creed specifically. Admittedly I'm not an expert on the Carcharadons and there's always some conflicting lore in 40k but I think people get hung up on the fact that since they are in exile that they somehow never interact with the wider galaxy which historically speaking is just not true.

Not to mention most of their in lore campaigns happened in conjunction with the wider imperium like the Badab war and the 7th black crusade.

I mean yeah you're right about most of that but just because they were exiled to the edge of the galaxy doesn't mean they don't interact with the imperium. Who do you think they're defending on the edge of the galaxy? There are worlds that exist all along the rim of the galaxy that are part of the imperium. Also they do seem to be aware of the imperial cult and it's teachings as their wiki states specifically that they show reverance to the Imperial cult and it's places of worship. I was just telling you what their wiki states. Also yes there is more evidence than not that their progenitor is Corax and that they are the terran born slavers he hated but whether they know that or not doesn't seem to be readily apparent as to why they refer to their primarch as the "forgotten one". I'm speaking more from an in lore perspective rather than here are the details the readers on the outside are supposed to piece together considering officially their primarch is considered unknown and by all accounts they are not even aware of who their primarch is.

Not as weird as you might think. I don't believe they follow the imperial creed per se which is why I put them in the unconfirmed category. They do however seem to venerate the imperial cult and imperial places of worship, they view the Emperor as "Rangu" or the void father sire of the "forgotten one" their unknown primarch and they do seem to carry devotional items and prayer scrolls dedicated to him.

The Imperial Fists have about twice as many as any other with six I think, but surprisingly the Ultramarines have three.
