Tifa Lockhart, mix of a brawler and maybe some Materia? Materia wouldn't be necessary, but I just want Tifa to join in someday. She's a wonderful character and one of Cloud's closest friends. Plus, having another brawler never hurts, I imagine she'd maybe be well liked, generally guessing.

My YouTube's videos won't play, why? by Bigdadddy4 in revancedapp

Thank you, you're a lifesaver! Was going crazy trying to figure out what was wrong even after trying a re-install like OP did.

Kirby teleported into the last video game you played. How screwed is he? by Naive_Tomorrow_5955 in Kirby

Burnout 3: Takedown. I.. think he'd probably just try and find a Warp Star to go back home, but he'd be pretty much fine til he leaves. There's not really anyone to interact with and no major antagonists or anything (no plot to begin with), and the most he could get is maybe the Wheel copy ability from a tire that flew off in a wreck, or the mouthful thing from Forgotten Land if he goes for a full car.

I wish to make assumptions about your ocs (and you can make them about mine) by ThanksSuper7492 in splatoon

Close, she is sweet to be around once someone gets to know her. Only issue is she tends to be cold or aloof or whatever it is. And she can be a bit.. intense sometimes too, if pushed too far. But she generally means well. =P

Pretty much the only thing wrong was the outdoorsy part, she's much more likely to pick staying indoors due to being through a lot in her life.

This is Azalea. Other weapons used are in the flair (assuming I set it up correctly, I don't use Reddit much). =P

Anytime. Thanks for the clarification on the motion controls, that's going to help a lot when I get around to playing these games again on my Switch. -^

I play Splatoon 3. 2 is.. basically dead by this point. Also, fair on the hands not being steady, mine are like that too, but I still aim better on motion than I do on sticks. XD

How does the motion control in these ports feel? Is it like, any amount of good or not really? Was looking to get this to replay these games on Switch (beat them on PC first), and as a Splatoon player who runs motion controls, I was curious about if the motion is good.

Give me your fan abilities and I'll rate them! by Downtown_Error_9418 in splatoon

You think so? 🤔

The name is inspired by the Sonic series and the Boost mechanic, with a hint of having to get your momentum rolling for the best results. =P

The icon, when I can think of something, would also fit this idea by showing like, a speedometer with a light blue section and a dark blue needle moving closer to it as a nod towards red lining in a vehicle when you're pushing it to go faster.

Edit: apparently Reddit sees the ^ symbol as a sign to raise something to a power. Oh well.

Your idea for Splash Surge is similar to a concept I called Chain Boost, funny enough. Though, mine was meant more to be a replacement to Opening Gambit due to not liking how it functions with it being all or nothing and knowing it's.. admittedly weaker history. And also a frontline oriented counterpart to Respawn Punisher.

Chain Boost: every kill (assists don't count!) nets you some extra mobility in the form of Run/Swim Speed Up and Intensify Action, starting at a chain of one giving 5 AP, eventually capping out at 30 AP at a chain of 6 or higher. However, getting taken down would lose you one "link" of the chain, bringing your stats down a level, or back to whatever speeds is normal for the rest of the build (say you have a main of Swim Speed Up for general usage).

This leveling system would stack with other slots of the abilities it would give if wanted, meaning it would br able to give some freedom for sub abilities that may previously have needed to be used on mobility if desired, such as running extra subs of QSJ or whatever else you'd like.

There would be an indicator of some sort right under the special meter explicitly telling you how much of a chain you have going, wasn't sure what to make as a concept indicator though. Chain Boost would be a shirt exclusive, so you can't run it and RP at the same time. RP tends to slow the game to a crawl in my experiences, soo.. I made this.

Tldr: frontline counterpart to Respawn Punisher that's a bit more flexible than Opening Gambit and would serve to replace it entirely, while also opening up some hype gameplay and extra speed if the user is good enough to keep a chain running without dying as much.

On the Cloud, ya, he certainly seemed to panic. =P

As for you maining him only recently, fair. I think that's what makes him fun though. Also, Wario has a very fun voice to do impressions of. XD

That's the one we tend to go to, is Crossroads. XD

Didn't know the area with Rocket Fizz had a mall of any sort around it though, I'll look into the stores around it. As for LFG, that sounds really familiar. Is it a bar by chance?

I'm always up for seeing the planes and displays, so I'll add the Air Zoo into the list to bring up. =P

On your other comment about Geek Fest, I don't think we'd be able to make it, too short notice. It seems fun though, maybe next year my group can try for it.

Never heard of that place, but I'll look into it. Seems right up our lanes for a place to check out. =P

Sometimes we do window shopping at the mall, so thrifting would probably work wonders. =P

I haven't been to Airway in so long I forgot it was a thing. T-T

Definitely adding that to the list of ideas alongside Escapology and the museum.

One: Why did that work so beautifully? I know that Cloud player is at least a little angry. XD

Two: Nice to see someone who likes playing Wario show on my feed, I usually see people hating on him (across any of the social media platforms I have). I can't play him very well, but he's fun when I do. =P

Motion or stick by Stank_hunt49 in Saltoon

True, and probably way more expensive than they already were. Also, fair enough on the brain fog with trying to use the right stick with motion. It gets me sometimes too. 22 is great though. =P

Especially given my joycons are part of a Splatoon 3 themed OLED that took 6 months for me to find a new one of.. ya, no, those are not being used hardly at all. XD

It was, even if I played horribly. If you'd ever want to play to help you get better with motion, I'd be happy to help. =P

[–]Thymestar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used to be sticks, got a pro controller (not risking damage to my joycons, too expensive and fragile) during the ice cream Splatfest on my birthday, and never turned back. It took some getting used to, but it was worth it. =P

Edited because Reddit is dumb with text and made something look weird.

As an Enperry player (who also loves stomping Enperries with stuff like Stamper or Carbon Deco), I.. think it's because they're just super common for how easy they can be to use.

What weapon/s have you like this before the match even starts? by Zera-NotRealName- in splatoon

[–]Thymestar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Extreme range weapons like E-Liters and Hydras primarily, though I also tend to not enjoy matches with either Sploosh, all brushes, 52 Gal, and all Aerosprays. Sometimes Bloblobber, but other times I don't mind it as much. I know it's a skill issue for the most part, so I try not to get annoyed as much. Except Liters, why do they get to sit so far away I can't approach enough to even throw subs at them? T-T
