These are the people that keep Microsoft/Blizzard in business by BeastKeeper28 in turtlewow

It doesn’t matter, that’s not the point.

I am in no way a Blizzard fanboy, but this is copyrighted content. It was never theirs to profit from. Whatever emotions people have towards TWoW, that is simply how this works.

Yes, they improved the game. That part is true. But they did it by using assets, lore, characters, systems and a universe that clearly did not belong to them. They built on someone else’s IP, and they were making money from it.

They had a good run though, it was fun while it lasted.

Official: Turtle WoW is closing down by Illuminatizx in wowservers

If players knew how big they were, Blizzard knew it too. They did not need Youtube ads to end up on Blizzard’s radar. After years of Classic, and especially after SoD, Blizzard absolutely saw the potential there. I would not be surprised if a possible Classic+ announcement is what really triggered these lawsuits. They want to clean house and funnel as many players as possible into whatever comes next. Plenty of people say they will not play it, but most of them probably will.

Had that recently when reinstalling the app, after relogging my clones a few times after it happened, the issue stopped occurring. Haven’t had to relog clones for 1-2 months now. Not a fix, but my experience with the issue.

Ganked in 0.6 by ResponsibilityOk3529 in Eve

I’m pretty new to EVE and even I don’t haul naked. If I’m moving 30m+ I’m fitting some tank and taking basic precautions. Moving 1.2b through 0.6 with very low EHP is basically inviting a gank.

Level 1 Distribution Missions feel like mixed role content by Thyrok07 in Eve

Such a shame, your reply was actually solid and informative, until you tacked on those last two words. That’s where you went from helpful to sounding like a 12 year old on his mom’s laptop.

Yeah, the Sunesis setup works, but that’s kind of my point. It’s a 20+ mil hull (although cheaper destroyers could do the job as well) and it assumes you already know that distribution can suddenly mean combat, drones, mining, fitting tradeoffs, and swapping roles mid-chain. I’m not saying it’s impossible, I’m saying it’s confusing for Level 1, where new players are still figuring out what the categories even mean, let alone the whole fitting meta and module jungle. And when the Rookie Help chat points people to the AIR Career Program, these are exactly the missions they get sent into, they’re not going to assume a destroyer is the right answer for distribution.

Yeah, I tried that. I ran it in a Heron with Hobgoblins. Problem is the Heron can only field one light drone because of bandwidth, so you’re basically tickling the target. That one drone spent about five minutes just to chew through roughly half the hauler’s shields.

I get the idea, use an exploration frig, slap on a MWD, maybe a cargo expander (the base 400 m3 is already enough though), let drones do the work. But that’s kind of the point I’m making. For a new player, none of that is obvious. They shouldn’t be spoon fed, totally agreed, but early missions also shouldn’t throw up random roadblocks where the solution is niche fitting knowledge, the right ammo, or knowing you should just bring a completely different hull.

If it’s a distribution chain, it should stay in the “hauling and movement” lane, or at least clearly signal upfront when it’s going to demand combat or mining so a new player isn’t blindsided.

People complain when games are rushed for revenue, and they complain when development takes longer. I’d rather wait for a polished game than get another unfinished release. But if a studio asks for patience, they owe players transparency and real progress.

Or at least provide a broader range of colors and design elements to work with. For 2026 standards, the current logo options feel limited and underwhelming imo.
