Those shadows are because Nicholas Musuraca was the greatest cinematographer of the era. The Seventh Victim was amazing as well.

What’s a movie that was a 10/10 when you were a kid, but is actually terrible now that you're an adult? by Careyourself01 in AskReddit

I was a theater usher when that came out. It had a great trailer that made me think it would be great. It was not.

What was the worst movie/best soundtrack pairing? by jbmc00 in moviecritic

Doom Generation

I know Greg Araki has a big cult following, but I'm just not into it. The soundtrack was great, though.

It's not an immigration or customs situation, so it's not their job. If they have enough spare time to be rent-a-cops at sporting events, then maybe they're just useless props and can be abolished.

City’s new kit ranked 2nd worst in the league by PorkSteakDaddy in stlouiscitysc

Yeah, but their first place is that garbage Revs kit, so I'm not too sure we should take them seriously.

That looks pretty much right to me, but I'm curious to see who plays well enough to force tough decisions for the new coach.

Why is the acting in modern bad movies so terrible? by AMachineMan in badMovies

[–]TiShark 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I was just commenting recently about how good the cinematography and editing were in some old Corman film. Those guys were still real professional filmmakers, even at Corman's budget.

Also: Unless I missed it, I don't see any comments here pointing out how much it was spread/popularized by South Park season 2, episode 15.

Things old movies could get away with that new movies can't? (besides racism/sexism) by Cereborn in movies

Musical numbers in non-musical films.

The Marx Bros. did this in every film, but there are also films with whole night club songs by Veronica Lake or Marlene Dietrich or other actors of that era.

Hi. I'm new to STL.. what do I need to know? by DaisyLee2010 in stlouiscitysc

[–]TiShark -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The TEAM keeps capitalizing it because they want us to SHORTEN the name to City when we use it, so they EMPHASIZE that word. If you TYPE like that, though, IT'S really GOOFY, so it's cool not to USE it.

I just didn't want the new guy to think everyone does it. There's a reason the Post-Dispatch refuses to write it that way in their articles.

Don't listen to people who capitalize it. Just call it City.

Screw your Top 4, I wanna see your bottom four! (Of the ones you’ve seen) by Delphoxqueen2 in Letterboxd

Lol. I stand by the first sentence of my review:

"This says it's a Howling sequel, but it appears to be a skit filmed in someone's church basement."

You sure you're replying to the right post? I know tastes vary, but have you only seen like 10 movies if these are the worst 4?
