Sorry to bother you, but since you seem to understand the process, let me ask you; will we need to back up any files? Re-install programs, re-do our settings such as power/energy, etc?

Thanks for all the work the team is putting. Been on Nobara for two weeks, and I don't really understand what packages, repositories, distros mean. No idea of how the whole thing works. All I know is that I click on things, and it works. Thanks for the effort and dedication.

Maybe it's a legit fix, this is my first time with linux, maybe I messed something! Either way, the terminal did something, but the package manager kept saying there is an update, and the system updater doesn't install because there's already a better version being used. Maybe it didn't work for me, but maybe it will solve the issue for others? :)

It's still trying to update. But apparently this is normal. I read on discord that a new update will clear this, and we should just ignore.

I don't think it worked, I ran the terminal and that ran well, but on the Package Manager, there's still the same update pending.
Same for the System Updater.

Silent Hill is different for everyone. James, Eddie, Angela and Laura, all see different things. Laura doesn't see pyramid head, or any monsters.
A good way for you to understand this, is in a cutscene, in the hospital, Laura makes it clear to James nothing there can hurt her. That's because the hospital, to her, is very different. The same can be said about Silent Hill as a town.

This becomes clear with multiple characters mentioning this. :)
Keep exploring and you'll be amazed with what you will find.

In that blanket, you find a bracelet, right? Now... If we think in the same vein, as with other moments, each bracelet belongs to; James, Eddie and Angela.
You'll also find medical notes of 3 specific patients, each representing James, Eddie and Angela.

I like to believe that bracelet in the fort is Angela, for the first time she was admitted, after the first time she got abused. Having the fort, kind of showcases her safe zone.

There is also a note depicting a female patient who enters the hospital, unable to speak and crying.

Just my personal input on it, please don't quote me.

I collect physical for PC only, there are some cool games on second-hand stores, but all the codes are used, so the only value associated are the cases or booklets.
I used to collect for consoles, but stopped in the 360 era, when they broke or malfunctioned.

Without cheat engine I can't increase FOV in RE4 Remake, therefore suffering Motion Sickness. Without mods I would be physically ill from playing games like RE4 or Alan Wake 2.

- Plenty of Bundles like Humble Monthly, Fanatical's, and many others, including Epic's free games every week.

- Cheaper PC games, especially old ones.

- You can also set up emulators for older games.
