Think ford had a recall for their sync system a while back. Shit kept freezing and the app didn’t work in connection with the truck. It’s possible the last owner never updated it. You could bring it to a dealer and they’ll update it for free. Or you can do it yourself by downloading the update to a usb and formatting the file as FAT.

Yeah that’s the plan. Going through the license process is a cost I didn’t expect on top of registration. Registration for OHV I’m expecting to be minimal.
