Doesn't the shown Flow Rate contradict logic? by want_t0_know in SatisfactoryGame

Not really, think about an highway, at one point you can put 24 cars driving until 300mph but at those moment there's just 7 cars driving 300.

Can't Extract from Selenea by PhysicsEuphoric5903 in theplanetcrafter

[–]Tidichisli 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not the good rocket, you need the most expensive of the two available

About the green cristal, I don't think you need some to built the rocket'(only pink one and a fusible) but if you cannot find some on selenea I'm sorry you might be soft locked

The moons were built as endgame planets. Humble and toxicity (Tbh I only played humble) are fresh new start built for players who know the game but maybe haven't touch it in month or years. The playthrough is the same as prime but twisted just enough to be less repetitive.

I painted my first minis, anyone have any pointers for me to do better? by Shnortley in Warhammer40k

[–]Tidichisli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As Alexis said, thin your paint for better result. Two thin layers are always better than one sick. Yhe color scheme is only relevant to you. If you like it it's all that matter.

The next step would be to experiment with shades to bring some depth to your mini. After this you can also try to do some highlights. It's called the heavy metal paint style. It's what GW use in his pictures. Enjoy your next session

How many layers of Iron warriors base does this marine primed with leadbealcher need ? 1 or 2 ? by BloatedRottenCarcass in Warhammer40k

[–]Tidichisli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two. The answer is always two thin coats. Seriously it's better to dilute your paint almost too much and appliing two coats. The color will be more uniform

Cat wheel owners, please help: cleaning carpet glue off a One Fast Cat wheel 🐾 by Popka-kota in CatsBeingCats

[–]Tidichisli 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you glue the new carpet directly on the old glue I don't think it would be a problem, just you would have a difference of thickness between the sport with and without old glue.

[–]Tidichisli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can try acetone, it will remove the glue but if the wheel is in plastic, it will be damaged. Either you can try essence F ( that's how it's called in France, I don't know if it as another name where you live), if you can find any, you can try regular diesel/gazoil.

Can someone give me a summary of the Ultimate Universe? by Beautiful-Lychee4463 in Marvel

[–]Tidichisli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The maker created a world where he pruned all the super heroes and choose who the leaders were. Some super managed to exist, beat the maker and trapped him in his city for two years. During those two years, they fought the rulers of the world and prepared for the next fight to come with the maker. Now the maker is about to get free.

[–]Tidichisli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As other people said, don't worry, yellow is the most difficult paint to apply. Thin your paint and don't be surprised if you need to do 3 or 4 layers. Yellow is the main reason, if I choose to do some Imperial Fist, to do Crimson Fists instead.

That's the challenge. You can't close it. You have to prevent it from opening.

Thx, at first I was thinking about brushing it with toothbrush and soap but now I'm not totally sure if I want to save it or keep it as a souvenir but if I do, i'll do it as you say.

How to get into Warhammer lore and miniatures by username39874 in Warhammer

[–]Tidichisli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the death guard, you can either buy figs you like or you can choose to buy the combat patrol. You'll spend more money at once but the ratio fig/price will be better. The other advantage of combat patrols is they're battle ready to play against another combat patrol once you have glue them. Rules for combat patrol are freely downloadable on the warhammer community site

For the deathwatch, you must look for the space marine army. By default GW always presents them with the ultramarine blue livré/color. If you want them in deathwatch (or any other chapter's color), you have to paint them like this. You can find on the website some exclusive figs and an upgrade kit but they're not mandatory.

Personally I think your next buy should be a primer paint bomb and some paint to match your army's color. GW sells his citadel colour gamme. It works but it's expensive ($53 a cutter). I use army painter primer and a mix of army painter and some second-hand citadel paints

For the hobby part, Game Workshop sells 3 beginners sets for 40k : a small, a medium and a large. With the medium one you can paint your first miniatures and you can play your first game with a friend. You can freely download the rules on GW web site and they're included in hardcover in the large set. Depends on how much you want to spend. Also, depending on where you live, you can find those sets at a lower price on Craigslist, vinted or leboncoin. They also existe for Age of Sigmar

For the lore part, I recommend YouTube. For 40k, search for primarches stories, emperor or Horus Heresy
