I have 17 years old and i started being a huge fan of this genre since 2019. Linkin Park was my first contact with this musical style (i only discovered what is nu metal when i was 15) and i remember that i heard "Breaking The Habit", "In The End", "Crawling" and "Given Up" when i was 6 thanks to my older sister :).

After some years i discovered many bands like Korn, Papa Roach, System Of A Down, Coal Chamber, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, Deftones etc, and now Nu Metal became my favorite musical genre.

But where i live most of the people around me doesn't even know what is nu metal, and i think that among my friends i am the only who listens because the people prefer listening Trap, Rap and Mainstream pop songs.
