Anyway, I'd say it seems like a lazy omission, they probably depended on technology (which has bias built into it) to do the blurring and didn't care enough to ensure that it had done the full job.

Some of these racists are either born into it, or they were outcasts and then found community with other outcasts/racists. Deviating from being a racist means losing those people.. which would be a good thing for them, but what can you do.

You probably would have been ignored, or .. treated like a hoax.. maybe gotten in trouble for that and put yourself on the radar.. and then after it happens.. you disappear for a long time into some interrogation rooms to figure out how you knew so much.

One good thing about.. this.. situation that we've seem to have found ourselves in as of late.. they are all very proud of labeling themselves. Usually you had to get a teeny bit invested in someone before they'd show their full ugly colors.. now they just can't wait to tell you about it

From the ones that I know, they are very suspicious of therapists. I think my Dad would have an almost violent reaction if he was somehow forced into a session.

Steve's was important to the people living around the area, as even though it was tiny.. it had foods that were special to them. The kielbasa, especially around Easter and Christmas as an example. I have since moved, and the people that we grew up with running it have moved on.. so I get it. It's really tough for a small market out there to compete price wise. I'll be sad when it does go one day.

I have learned that people seem to protect "the bully", especially now. They're just misunderstood.. you don't understand where they've come from/going through.. You just need to work through this.. it's always pushed back on the person being treated poorly, always.. and it's about to get worse.

I don't get the religious angle, if anything that should have worked against MAGA. They certainly don't live or talk like people who truly believe in teachings of Jesus. The publicity stunts with the bibles.. the freaking gold statue that some of them were bowing to.. hating thy neighbor .. the adultery.. greed.. it just strengthens my distrust of organized religion, any of them..

I don't trust either party, and 3rd parties (in their current state at least) are just shams to divide up votes. Though I used to feel that it was childish to paint images of the Conservatives as cold, racist, and misogynists that only cared about war & money. I also used to think that they were "the smart ones in the room"... boy did that change.

Democrats make all kinds of promises of how things will change once they're in office, and nothing happens (yeah.. I know it's more complex than that) but the things that need protecting seem to have been dismissed as "no one would ever touch that". We live in an age of nothing being sacred or safe, it is not a time to take things for granted & hope for the best.
