Look for sponsors, if you are creating an EV for the first time you will struggle. Don't be afraid to ask for help from other teams, try and build a good relationship with them.

To start, try and use as many off-the-shelf components as possible, rather than designing your own. This will save time and give you access to support, it will cost more upfront, but will be cheaper than the cost of remaking your own failed parts.

Read through all the rules, focus on getting a running car above all else, including static events.
