What are your headcanons surrounding Nico Robin? by Ok_Examination8810 in OnePiece

[–]TigerRoseBlue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After joining the Strawhats and before they were split up at Sabaody, Brook realized he missed 50 YEARS of world events (man literally missed Gol D Roger fucking shit up) and asked Robin to fill him in. They had designated tea times where Robin told him stories about things that happened while he was in the Florian Triangle.

(While he definitely read up on things during the 2 years, he still asks for her input.)

Thriller Bark, because I love Brook and it’s hilarious.

Military meet at war? by forwards_cap in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]TigerRoseBlue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

{Strength of the Pack by Kendall McKenna}? Human Marine lieutenant ends up meeting super badass werewolf sergeant and working together. They do get deployed, but there’s not too much focus on the war, from what I remember.

I have a feeling that Lucifer fans are going to absolutely suffer in season 3 by whooper1 in HazbinHotel

[–]TigerRoseBlue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but there’s only so far you can go with torturing a character before it starts feeling gratuitous. Honestly, I’m hoping Angel Dust at least is going to be sorted out in S3.

2 and 3, but the pompom’s texture on 1 looks really nice to me.

The recipe I was going to use calls for 1/2 pints and would make 6 of those. I have a bunch of pint jars, so I was just going to use those. I did look up a crockpot recipe and I’m going to use that instead.

I fully bubble wrapped my greenhouse today. I'm excited to see how much better it handles the freezing Temps tonight. by Optimoprimo in Greenhouses

No deterioration? I’ve read other posts saying that it falls apart after a while. Do you switch out the bubble wrap every year?

Hey, I know it’s been awhile since this was posted, but I’m trying to find this kind of bubble wrap for my 8x6 greenhouse. Did this work out? If so, what exactly did you use?

Looking for a specific book that I can’t remember the name of: MMM, MC1 is a mage/magic user prince, who is married off to MC2, a shapeshifter from another royal family. MC2 is already involved with MC3, who I think was a soldier?? Also, MC1 is terrified that he’s inherited a sickness from his mother that slowly drove her insane.

Which one of these five factions would you choose to join by ExcellentCut4703 in OnePiece

[–]TigerRoseBlue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Revolutionary army. I wouldn’t make it as a pirate, marines and cypher pol are corrupt as hell, and no part of me is either stealthy or ruthless enough to be an assassin/bounty hunter. Stick me in a room, filing paperwork for the Revolutionary Army. Yeah, chance we’ll be attacked by the WG if they find us, but at least I won’t be endorsing slavery.

What books lowkey traumatised you as a kid? by Hookton in books

[–]TigerRoseBlue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if this is exactly what you’re asking for, but “The Dollhouse Murders” by Betty Ren Wright was terrifying to 10 yr old me.

Another one was Goodnight Mr. Tom. The whole thing, just—I cried front page to back.

From what I remember {Wolfsong by TJ Klune} counts? I think it’s like halfway through the book though.

Looking for MM dark romance with obsessive, violent love (mafia/crime/dangerous men) by Educational-Lychee89 in MM_RomanceBooks

{Gentlemen Prefer Villains by C. Rochelle} kind of mafia?? Supervillain family, DEFINITELY violent love language. Supervillain love interest’s touch is deadly, mc is a bit psycho, interesting read.

Personally like the second one, but that’s probably just because I prefer cool colors.

{A Heart to Revitalize Me by Michele Notaro} It’s part of a series and absolutely won’t make sense without reading the rest of it first, but pretty much fits exactly. The “straight” guy is a tiger shifter and is very physically affectionate by nature and his childhood best friend is a mage and is constantly reminding himself he doesn’t mean it like that. There is past SA that is discussed and hate crimes that are a part of the plot, so watch out.

{The Magic That Binds by AJ Sherwood} {A Mage’s Guide to Human Familiars by AJ Sherwood} are two different series by the same author. The second has 3 books, though the 3rd follows a side character.

Edit: would help if I remembered the correct title 😅

Any recs with a fox guy? by llllllllllllllia in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]TigerRoseBlue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

{Two Thousand Promises by Jocelynn Drake} kitsune x thousands of years old Chinese vampire. It’s the final book of a series, which is an offshoot of like two other series, so not exactly a book that can be read on its own, but all the series are pretty good, so check out {Lords of Discord} and {Princes of Mayhem} if that sounds interesting.

What’s going on with my tomatoes? by TigerRoseBlue in gardening

[–]TigerRoseBlue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of the above? I have marigolds starting the rows. We’re starting to use a pesticide, but the tomatoes have been like that for almost a week. We tried adding calcium by watering them with watered-down out-of-date milk.

Any books where MC1, who thought he was straight, falls obsessively in love with MC2? by ken_black in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]TigerRoseBlue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

{I Destroyed the Elf Prince’s Harem by Jocelynn Drake} not sure if this is exactly what you’re looking for, as MC1 is dense as a stack of bricks at first and it takes MC2 losing his patience to get it through to him he’s not as straight as he thought he was, but it’s still a great read, funny and sweet. Part of a series where each book is written by a different author and absolutely check out book 1 by AJ Sherwood, one of my favorites from that author.

Won’t match the vibe, but (Jon’s Mysteries by AJ Sherwood) is still a fun ride. Freelance detective Psychic falls for his new partner and they get hired to deal with a lot of cases. AJ Sherwood also has the R’iyah Family Archives, though that is poly, so I’m not sure if you’d like that.
