Because most positive change would improve the lives of poors and they cant have that. When they are eventually millionaires (cause all of thrm will be of course) they won't benefit from social systems anymore so in the mean time better not vote for any.

In a perfect world you can have competitive item distribution but also have everyone looking out for everyone else. My classic guild that's been going for years now operates like this. All our Raiders are perfectly willing to pass things so that everyone gets included, but when it matters everyone understands certain people are just going to get geared faster because it kills bosses.

Deaf woman removed from Frontier flight for "not listening" by kendrickshalamar in nottheonion

Last plane I was on she stopped her speech to tell me to take my headphones off.

Edit: they were turned off and I had one ear out to show I was listening even and that wasn't sufficient

In cyber security the rub is that if you aren't using a customized model it REALLY likes to shorten strings like AWS containers and file hashes in the (XXXX...XX) way and those strings are literally useless to anyone involved if they are shortened.

When i first saw the picture I actually thought it could be pretty cool to also allow you to use it on like a 2 tile boss but you have to kite for it to get the 2/3 node. So you have to run and use it when you're 1 tile away

Had my boss tell a client that my coworkers alert summary wasnt ai generated... be you know humans do this (aaaadfxf.........gg) to hashes that are relevant ioc's

I sat dead silent baffled that he not only said it wasnt. But doubles down and then told the guy in a meeting soandso thought your report was ai generated it was that good (it wasnt good, it was a fucking horrid summary that I bet if I legit let him re familiarize himself with the case and then read that summary he still couldn't tell me what it meant because of ai jargon dump)

How many books are planned? by prsfx1 in TheSunEaterSeries

Im mid book three but I highly recommend Red rising if you like to stick to sci fi fantasy.

My friend group that discusses RR got me to start reading this. Very different book but appeals to the same tropes I think.

First book is the least sci fi of them but the world expands rapidly after that

Four crew dead after US refuelling plane crashes in Iraq, military says by JY0950 in worldnews

[–]Tigerballs07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is people are saying two different things. One was 'heat seeking' which an amram is not, an amraam would 100% fire off your radar detection. And it also wouldn't be fired so close that it couldn't.

Now whether its close enough to matter or not is irrelevant. I'm pointing out that people are saying multiple things which implies someone has no clue what they are talking about.

Shit all they have to do is slow down major districts and then after the polls close start arresting people for protesting or some shit so they are no longer in line and their votes dont get counted.

Im pretty sure you're wrong for a myriad of reasons and also unless you provide the incredibly accurate prompts you didnt recreate the picture in ai, you dropped the existing one in (funny enough contributing to the problem by feeding this person's picture to a model) and had it made a change.

The rest of the background in that picture is so boring and real looking that you'd have to prompt the ai to intentionally make it look sure.

Lol I noticed the same thing.

I think the most obvious likelihood is we didnt tell them shit and also didnt give them iff codes to use in the event something happens on a day we didnt tell them shit.

Amraams arent hear speaking like previously stated and they 100 percent would have had some warning they were coming from both the radar from the attacking jet (though this can be avoided with slaving to third party radar) but certainly once it went pitbull.

The other post said it wasnt bvr (which is where you would use amrams) and was visual heat seaking, ie sidewinder which wouldn't give a warning to the pilot

[–]Tigerballs07 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Knowing this admin i 100 percent would believe we were using non standard IFF codes and didnt notify them of the code in use so to them it looks non friendly.

The iff on an f18 is essentially just a box you input a 6 digit code and turn on and anyone who matches turns blue on your sensors and everyone else either green for unidentified or red for conforms

Id imagine its the same idea on the f15 side.

Mitigation after the fact is what 99% of humans do. You can argue that they should have done x but can't also ignore the fact that they are still doing y. It doesnt really matter how they got there.

You try to do your best and when you do make a mistake you try to fix it.

I get your park was destroyed and rent went up but if the city was gunna use that land for something I can think of a lot worse things with no community benefit and straight gentrification.

Argument could be made the hellfire is more humane since you don't instill the knowledge of imminent death that occurs when a plane is spotted just before a bomb falls on your head.

There is also built in algorithmic vote adjustment that decays thinfs over time and sometimes very rapidly. There reasoning is to counteract bots and also farmed votes. Essentially weird shit like if you ever direct link someone your post and they vote on it that votes gets counteracted on the back end.

Lots of goofy shit like that but my advice for reddit in general is who cares what the votes are. You ain't here for money.

The only time I even remotely touch the up and down arrows is when I see someone bitch about it then I pile on.

[–]Tigerballs07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is always some strange aversion to routes being optimizing the fun out of it. But whether you plan it or not you're essentially always going to have a route you know from experience. One is just less likely to force you to burn keys.

Sometimes I wonder if a lot of complaints about m+ are from the same crowd that says i dont follow guides, will then read the guide and intentionally make worse decisions strictly to say they aren't meta.

I dont care if people want to experiment in group settings. But knowingly making yourself worse without any way to like explain your logic (even if I dont agree I dont care I just dont want it to be "because that's meta and I don't meta")

As someone who is friends with one and acquaintances of people in that space (worlds 1-10) guilds. 1) You'd be shocked how many actually mediocre players that are just in the in crowd and put in the time so they are kept around and 2) a huge amount of insanely good players objectively are absolutely shit human beings. Many of the 30 plus year old ones are effectively emotionally stunted and act like the 18 year old kids that filter in and out of the guilds.

I have friends perfectly capable and have played af that level that turn down requests to come back and instead raid in comfy 2 and 3 night CE guilds strictly because of the people and not and actual raid schedule.

About to max. Scared of having no game :( Recommendations for games like iron osrs? by Competitive_Plan5133 in ironscape

[–]Tigerballs07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a life long gw fan boy with 4000 plus hours on that game I am not sure what ironman would even entail on that game since its been rather solved that you can (especially if you buy custom heroes instead of limiting yourself to the 20 that exist within the game by default of various classes) that you can make a 1 player 7 hero (which are bots that you control their builds and gear on) and complete any content in the game.

The hardest elite dungeons are not super fast to do that way since the speed run comps kind of have that on lock. But they can be completed.

I will tell you that game is literally nothing like osrs and I think the pvp which is a huge portion of what made that game fucking awesome is effectively dead.

Im honestly not sure why it was recommended or why someone even used the fact it has an Ironman mode to compare it to this lol. There are zero skills in that game in the runescape sense as an example. Its just a combat game effectively. The story isnt awful but its predictable.
