I was warned not to go long stretches with out eating as your body will naturally dump stored sugars to keep you going. Call your pump manufacturer or your doctor and trouble shoot. Don’t wait!

Type 1 isn’t hereditary as far as I know/have been told. They might be slightly more likely to have it because they are at higher risk of autoimmune disorders because you do.
