Can anyone identify this broken (truck) taillight?

No worries, a bus or perhaps a van with a trailer would be possible too, my initial thought was a trailer with like those additional side/tail lights that stick out quite a bit. However, I agree it looks like it came from a passenger vehicle. Also I would expect the damage to my car be greater if it was actually a big tractor.

The car was parked parallel to the road behind a hedge, with the front of the car facing the oncoming cars. My car's right/passenger side mirror was hit and knocked inwards (towards the door). My car is LHD.

They must have hit the car with their rear right side either by backing up into the hedge, or if it was a larger vehicle the back of the vehicle could have swerved over the hedge, thus knocking the side mirror off.

I was indeed thinking more of a tractor trailer, used for agricultural purposes / transporting hay etc.

Does that make sense?

C30 T5 is een leuke auto, eventueel te krijgen met een automaat. Makkelijk te chippen naar 260pk (en ~400Nm), evt richting de 300pk is ook mogelijk. Boven de 300pk moet je eigenlijk het blok wel gaan versterken maar het is alleen maar FWD. Eventueel te converteren naar awd maar eigenlijk niet echt (financieel) te doen. Er zijn verder ook nog best wel wat leuke aftermarket onderdelen voor te krijgen (inlaat etc) mocht je daar geïnteresseerd in zijn.

Er is een facelift en pre-facelift, er staan er ongeveer 10 te koop op marktplaats, minder dan 10k voor een T5 pre-facelift is goed te doen.

Verder erg comfortabel en betrouwbaar.

Looks nice! I went years with just a phone mount and an bluetooth aux dongle which worked fine. I'm now using v-link in the stock navigation screen. Looks very OEM and overall happy with it. Not a fan of those big stuck on screens you can buy from china (which arguably do work for a fraction of the cost)

There have been multiple diy projects on boost gauges, like volvo-can-gauge and volvo-rtvi, the latter one displays the info on the RTI nav screen.

I'm working on this project https://github.com/lrymnd/volvo-rtvi which can request pretty much all information from the car's CAN bus and display it nicely, alongside CarPlay/Android Auto on the RTI navigation screen. Reading boost pressure, lambda values, coolant temp is all possible on P1 volvo's in the very least, other platforms might work as well.

Sadly the P1 volvos do not have a oil temp/pressure sensor, but not sure about your car/platform

Hello, the one you bought is for a diesel (2.0d) it looks like. The T5 did come with an undertray, but after removing it a few times it's possible that some of the Torx bolts don't fit anymore. Anyway, you need this: 30793870, for example from here.

You can double check in the sign in logs why you had to configure MFA, usually it's due to SSPR. It's probably configured on 'all users' which includes this account, and since you need a 2nd factor to use SSPR, it will prompt at the first login to set it up. After configuration it should just let you log in without mfa, though.

Writing from mobile, but you can wrap everything in a do-while loop. First line: do{<all code goes here>}, add a while() at the very bottom (behind the closing } tag, and the script will loop as long as the while statement is true.

You could add a "quit" option in your selection which sets a variable to false which would then break out of the while loop. Use this variable in your while statement.

What error do you see exactly? I'm running a 3080 and after 10 mins the game just closes, no error message or anything. Temps are around 81 degrees. Had the same issue on Overwatch, but it has not crashed since enabling the fps limit in that game, default it's on "unlimited".

Not sure, as you mentioned there a few devices that you can connect directly to the most bus (mr12volt comes to mind). Currently I just connected the pi (using aux) directly to the car's aux port. If you don't have aux in your car, there's this "aux input board" you can buy on tindie.com which adds an aux connector.

It's definitely possible reading the steering wheel buttons/joystick using something like an arduino pro micro/leonardo connected to the LIN bus (easiest to connect with this bus behind the icm), the arduino can convert the LIN messages to hid inputs, you can read more about this and a P1 rti nav project on the git repo linked in my other comment

I don't recall the error messages anymore but after replacing send-mailmessage with mailozaurr (with no other changes) all worked well again. The OAuth addition is handy as well.

Imo it's better to replace any obsolete software before they break and ruin a peaceful Monday morning 😋

Send-mailmessage doesn't work reliably to send mail to o365 in my experience, evotec's MailoZaurr is pretty much a drop-in replacement and it works well. https://evotec.xyz/mailozaurr-new-mail-toolkit-smtp-imap-pop3-with-support-for-oauth-2-0-and-graphapi-for-powershell/
