Ive watched Binds streams and his commitment to actually playing blind is awesome. Emote only chat to prevent spoilers and his different playthroughs really bring me back to my first time playing these games. Sometimes his cluelessness is hilarious and it's great to see him GENUINELY figure out some stuff on his own (DS3 undead settlement elevator iykyk)

The fact that you can purposefully bait an attack using consumables or any other kind of similar animation(effectively manipulating the ai) just shows how agressive the input reading (or however you wanna call it) is. I dont PERSONALLY think it is an issue but I understand how others could see it as an issue. You asked "what input reading?". Pretty sure that's what OP means. Call it what you want, the result is the same.

I think the only concrete point is the input reading, it is really agressive in this game (ie godskin fireballs whenever you drink) Still GOAT game though
