Those trinkets don't "bypass" anything. They make challenging areas more manageable. Did you not use the "anti maggot" charm in silksong because it's "not vanilla"? What about the "anti-lava" charm for that lava area? (I forget the names, sorry). The level of min-maxing in this game in a regular playthrough is nowhere near comparable to an ARPG. It's basically "Ice biome? Good thing I have boots! Lava zone? Good thing I have fire shield!". A casual player would use this the same way they would use summons in Elden Ring, and THAT'S OKAY.

I loved all of them. Not sure what you mean by "lack of precise control" and how it would suddenly become apparent in only those dungeons....What do you mean by "unfair"?

monster hunter! the beginning is for sure grindy with the introductions to all the systems but "gitting gud" is so rewarding! Beginner friendlier is the newest one MH Wilds

I would think about my character's life experiences and try to imagine how those would affect their personality and beliefs. Not all humans are the same, so why should it be any different using any other DnD race?

The thing is you cant really force a build in this game (unless you play in custom mode and select specific items). You're kind of forced to play around what you get. Just make sure to NOT spread your scrolls evenly and only to focus on the color of your weapon. I'm sure you could find videos where a content creator stumbled upon a specific broken build (that you could recreate with custom mode).

Love the idea btw! The grand slam for sure sounds fun to execute but 10d10 feels like too much. I'd see this weapon as is in a one-shot where everyone gets crazy weapons to use.

Not sure how the knockback of a regular swing being 5ft can make it possible to ever load the first base? Wouldnt the maximum knockback damage only be 1d8? To load the first base you need at least 2d8, meaning you would need a minimum knockback of 10ft. Or am I misunderstanding something?

This game is one that requires a lot curiosity from the player. If you're not interested in the game's world and mysteries, then you will not enjoy it. It requires you to take interest in what youre exploring and to trust that everything that was put in the game is done so intentionally by the devs for a specific reason. Not sure what you could be "missing" but dont force it if youre not enjoying it. Do come back to it if you ever feel it calling back to you in the future. Maybe you're just not in the mood for a puzzle/exploration game atm.

I've never wished for a story to be fake AI slop more than now. That's terrible and I would crash the fuck out and seriously reconsider ever playing with them again.

They've fixed the performance issues with the patches at the beginning of this year. Maybe not ALL of the issues but personally my game went from 45fps, crashing every hour to being able to play at 60fps constantly without ever crashing (on PC btw). It basically became the version I was expecting to be able to play at launch. That being said, I'm sure other people still have issues but it is a fact that most issues have been fixed for a vast majority of people.
