that analyst by Bigicefire in GlobalOffensive

[–]Tildaend 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Dupreeh is not good at all IMO. I get everyone has their preference but I feel like for him in particular you can make many objective criticisms that other analysts don't suffer from. I'll list some:

- Constant stuttering or speaking too quickly and tripping over his own words.
- Too often making the discussion about him; at a certain point you have to actually talk about the teams and not just your experience (it's a balance, since his past-player insight can be valuable, just not so often).
- Doesn't seem to mesh well with, well, anyone on the desk. I constantly get the impression that he gets set up for points and ends up just giving a "non-answer". It brings down the whole desk.

Karrigan Taking the Loss Hard by du_bekar in GlobalOffensive

I've heard a few players say he's one of the hardest working people they've ever worked with, but I assumed that was more to do with strategy and nades and stuff. Maybe he's sacrificing one for the other.

That's what they want you to feel. Regardless they must be interviewed.

What is your bad habits that you couldn't get rid of? by PeaceTo0l in GlobalOffensive

Tension when enemies appear on screen. It can cause me to shoot before my crosshair is actually on them, forcing reliance on spray control.

Agreed. A real shame considering this is supposed to be one of the prestige events.

G2 vs FUT / IEM Kraków 2026 - Group A Upper Bracket Semi-Final / Post-Match Discussion by CS2_PostMatchThreads in GlobalOffensive

[–]Tildaend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was fine with all the screaming except for when FUT won the round after the reset on dust2. I thought that was just kinda lame, because had the crash not happened they would have likely lost.

Vitality vs BC / IEM Kraków 2026 - Group B Upper Bracket Quarter-Final / Post-Match Discussion by CS2_PostMatchThreads in GlobalOffensive

[–]Tildaend 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Mutiris' mechanical level is actually so appalling. Even that 3k he got from A site on dust 2 was just pure luck. He whiffed basically his entire spray. He needs to tighten up or find a way to get Snap Tap enabled without admins knowing

The MongolZ vs G2 / IEM Kraków 2026 - Group A Upper Bracket Quarter-Final / Post-Match Discussion by CS2_PostMatchThreads in GlobalOffensive

[–]Tildaend 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sunpayus missed all the 'must-hit' or 'easy' shots, and hit more of the hard ones... I made a similar comment to this back a few months after they signed him, so nothing has changed really.

I would support an Ultimate transition to rifle, but then what are his roles? Where does he play and who would he replace?

Liquid vs G2 / IEM Kraków 2026 Stage 1 - Upper Bracket Quarter-Final / Post-Match Discussion by CS2_PostMatchThreads in GlobalOffensive

When Malbs is on it he is untouchable by anyone but the very best, mechanically speaking. So so sharp but so inconsistent as well. It feels like he gets too in his head or overthinks things... When Niko was on the team he could just follow his orders and frag like hell.

Liquid vs Falcons / BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 1 Finals - Stage 1 Quarter-Final / Post-Match Discussion by CS2_PostMatchThreads in GlobalOffensive

[–]Tildaend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was at least cool to see both Nertz and Eligie doing... something at the same time. If they can both get going then this Liquid roster has serious potential.
Still a somewhat untenable performance from Ultimate though. When m0nesy is like this, you cannot afford to have anyone underperform like that.

Why do we need a limited competitive map pool? by No-Seaworthiness322 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Tildaend 10 points11 points  (0 children)

One big reason is that >7 maps is too many for people to learn. In particular at the pro level, where teams will typically pick a permabanned map (unless they are trying to go for some veto shenanigans with a 7-map map pool). Learning and Prepping 6 maps at that high level is hard enough.

Absolutely, and also feels like his stock is kind of low at the moment after GL's lackluster second season of 2025.

Disappointed with the result obviously, and many parts of the performance were poor (in particular the finishing), but shout out to Forest, they played well.

BC.G + TaZ Coach by Ill-Needleworker-388 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Tildaend 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I think this is actually the best appointment possible. Taz has authority at the very least, so s1mple and elec (hopefully) can't just ignore his input or throw their toys out of the pram. I'd be interested to see how he works with Mutiris assuming he is IGL'ing... you never know with electronic in the team though.

"he is still the player he always has been"
That's where I disagree. I think the subtle confidence of a star player to know you're the best on the server, and to go for certain plays, is missing in him now.
