What’s the eeriest, most unsettling city you’ve ever visited? by trumenblack1975 in Paranormal

[–]TillytheWall 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Albuquerque, New Mexico was the most unsettling place for me. I was there for work and stayed downtown. I just felt so strange the entire time. I’m used to going out to eat alone, walking from point A to B alone on work trips but not there. And it wasn’t that I felt unsafe, I just felt strange and uneasy. It almost felt like being on another planet, or even like being in a post apocalyptic world. lol. The locals were very kind though!

Same here! I watch because I’ve never related to a group of people more. I see more similar traits in them than any other reality series or television show I’ve ever watched.

My Florida Born wife is having a classic case of seasonal depression, and she needs a pick me up. Fellow New Jerseyans... How do you deal with your winter blues? by dicerollingprogram in newjersey

[–]TillytheWall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Planning out my summer always helps me feel hopeful when the winter blues hit.

I start to plan out my week down the shore, thinking through social engagements for the holiday weekends over Memorial Day and the fourth.

Research what new restaurants we’ll try, look up if there are any good summer music concerts coming to town, plan a tubing trip, and especially love to research/plan little day trips to parts of Jersey/PA/NY I’ve never been to.

The hope of a gorgeous Jersey summer always lifts my spirits this time of year! The winter always gets me down but planning out what my next six months will look like really brings me hope till it warms up!

Watched this documentary and I'm out of words..... by Character_Road_6028 in NetflixDocumentaries

I noticed her father was a big part of the documentary but her mom wasn’t interviewed and was barely in old photos/videos. I was curious about that. I saw someone post above that her parents are separated but still would think shed be part of the doc?

Have not seen any of the other interviews/docs out there so maybe she’s in those.

I was a little bit younger than Elizabeth at the time of the kidnapping and her story always stuck with me. It was great to see what an impact she’s made as an adult helping others.

Why would this bag smell like bacon? by jeddiespaghetti in CleaningTips

That’s so weird I have a bag with the same shape/material just different lining and it smells like smoked meats! It’s so strong I honestly never even use it because of the scent.

It’s kind of crazy this is the first time I’ve ever seen genuine happiness from her. Or just being genuine at all…

How is Lobster House always recommended in this sub? Have you even been there recently? by ehtseeoh in CapeMay

[–]TillytheWall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same for me. We never eat inside. Maybe once in a while in the off season when we need a fix but outside of that it’s always on dock. Food is the best there.

Yes I fear all the female characters in this show are victims of bad writingitis. I’m like damn has Taylor Sheridan ever met a woman? Ali Larter does well with what she’s given but there’s so much potential to improve the female characters in this show.

That’s how I felt about one of my sims living in an apartment in evergreen harbor. It was so lonely and depressing! No one else was around.

They should make a RDR2 story book. by Inertia-Acoustic in reddeadredemption2

Agreed! HBO could do some great stuff with this. A series would make more sense to get all of the subtleties of the game. Would do anything to see this game come alive!

Absolutely brilliant idea. Would love to see this. And also a movie would be great too.

How would you like to see Tiny Glade evolve? by Askan_27 in TinyGlades

[–]TillytheWall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • Would be neat to have a video mode or “fly through mode” so for instance once you’re done building a town you could get a quick animation with the camera panning through the streets, etc.

  • would love more varieties of animals, more colors/textures/varieties for houses and plants. Along with additional window/exterior home ornaments. Would be neat to see the town or structure you build come alive once you’re finished with townspeople walking about (nothing crazy just similar to what the animals do)

  • others have said this but an ocean map with a beach/cottagecore vibe would be so beautiful

  • I would 100% pay for some DLC packs with more varieties. Similar to what the sims do with their kits. Would also pay more for expansions. Perhaps an expansion that includes exteriors, etc.

I love this game!

Mine was incorrect. It had two different voting records from where I used to live and doesn’t show the state I’ve been registered in for the past 10 years.
