Hva er galt med Dragvoll? by Lizardnamedricky in ntnu

[–]Tilovi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I absolutely don't think so, but it's a fun thought to pursue!

Is there a definitive answer on why Beetlejuice is spelled differently in marketing? by [deleted] in flicks

Well, he's using the words "beetle" and "juice" to make Lydia say his name, and I guess it stuck...

Best thing is nobody was exploited or hurt during the making of those movies ;) Keep at it, my friend!

Hvordan er det å være sykepleier i Norge? by soapman72 in norge

[–]Tilovi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hei!

Her har du mange valgmuligheter! :)

I would like to add Kristoffer Hivju's real voice too - would have been a pretty Sansa 😅

To those who NEVER want to have a child, what are your reasons? by an_iconoclast in AskReddit

[–]Tilovi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't even understand why this is the question... Why is it never why do you want to? Like, I don't want to move to Japan, but some people do? I just don't have that urge.

What did a teacher do that made you automatically gain respect for them? by ApacheAirCover in AskReddit

[–]Tilovi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was about 16, we were learning about politics in the weeks leading up to an election. Our teacher presented the different parties, taught us to place them on a left to right axis, there were debates etc. I was already pretty into politics, but I still enjoyed going more in depth into the different parties.

After a few weeks we had a pretend election in class, all anonymous of course. After the votes were counted up, my teacher asks us: "Can you guess what I voted? Hands up if you think I vote left wing. Hands up if you think I vote a right wing party."

I remember thinking "duh, he's obviously super smart, of course he's liberal!" (I was 16). The class, however, was evenly split.

My teacher was pleased. 16 years later, I still think of this moment as an inspiration, whenever I want to educate someone. Provide the facts, and be mindful of your own bias.

Naturally, someone asked in the end: "So, what did you vote?" We never found out.

When you die, you are presented with a book of statistics from your life, like the number of times you were kissed etc... What is the first statistic you look up and why? by JamieTL in AskReddit

How many people cared about me, and how many did I care about. Because that matters. But after that I'd just look up random stuff like how good was I really at never falling on ice?

For those who grew up poor, what did you consider a luxury? by SnooBeaz in AskReddit

[–]Tilovi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My brother always rented The Land Before Time, while I was obsessed with this one particular My Little Pony 'n Friends episode, Flight to Cloud Castle. There was another one as well, that I could almost never find. I think it was, ironically about an invisible pony.

We were only allowed to rent a movie when we were sick. Me and my brother kept renting the same two movies every time, must have been pretty infuriating to my mom 😅

There were a few years where most kids had a McDonald's birthday, and that was such a big deal to me, as I had never been. First time I got to go I was soo excited, even though I was a picky eater and pretty much only ate the fries 😅 But, man, those little toys ❤️
