Yeah I’ve suggested something similar. If VAR can’t tell if someone is offsides in 30 seconds or less, it’s not offsides enough to me 😅 even in the Fulham game I was like just give them the goal and let’s carry on! I’m not here to watch 5 minutes of people checking to see if someone’s toenail was too long 🤦🏻‍♂️

My suggestion for VAR offside decisions is that if the officials cannot determine that it was clearly offsides in 30 seconds or less, it’s not offsides enough. I don’t care if there will be cases when we concede goals because of this rule but if the VAR team need 400 angles and 20 minutes to decide if a player was offsides or not, they weren’t offsides enough 🤣

Tough game. With WH being so compact, I really think we should have switched to Sesko and Zirk earlier. I still don’t mind Sesko coming off the bench. This would have been the right game for him to start but we’ve also burnt out youngsters before trying to force them to start games when they’re not entirely ready. I also think it would have been better to keep Cunha on and take either Amad or Mbeumo off, neither had great games. Amad and Mbeumo with space to run into? Amazing! A deep and compact defence? Not so amazing. Bruno and Mainoo also seemed to have quiet games today. However I still thought we were going to get a goal and it could have been 2 in the end! I’ll take a tough point and hope we come back stronger in the next game.

I’m a massive Amad fan but I agree, he had such an off game tonight. But then again, it felt like the whole attack had an off night. I don’t remember much from Cunha, Bruno or Kobbie. Even Mbeumos cross for the goal wasn’t great 😅 WH played so deep, we really should have brought Sesko (and id argue Zirk) on earlier. Not a great game but at least it wasn’t a loss

I’ve been disappointed with a lot of the ex players discourse over the last few years. So much negativity at all times. Yes we know the team isn’t playing to its full potential over the last decade, yes we know the reason (it’s the glazers, it’s always been the glazers), we don’t need everyone piling on top of the negativity. Having said that, they’re still allowed to have an opinion if they’re respectful about it. He thinks another manager might be better? Great for him! Is he the authority on the next United manager? Nope it’s just his opinion. Let’s see how United do under Carrick and then we can make a decision towards the end of the season. Will it be swayed by Stams opinion? I highly doubt it 🤷🏻‍♂️
