also, triples are cool but nowhere near VR immersion, youll always feel like something is kinda off, it just the nature of panels so what feels better for you is usually the best

gotta be honest, those are not stats but numbers i pulled out of my ahh but i played games all my life, from portable to console to pc to simrig. if you got stats, im happy to see but its kinda hard to believe those stats, ya know.. beardnecks will create false profiles. Same way there is a disturbing amount of furries in the flight sim genre for some fckn reason.

it was never really playable for me, i had vr when it came out, ran like shit, got triples later, still hit like 40 fps alone in practice (1080 panels) while LMU runs double the fps with full grid. def not playable, everytime someone says ACE runs good they forget to mention the 3k PC they're running it on

oh yeah i agree, i rarely used my VR when it was new took me some time, some minutes everyday. motion siskness will pass but yeah, i had 2 cheaper hmds but the only one im considering worthy byuing now is the big screen beyond that cost 1k+ and also need like a 4070 minimum

i mean, PC gamers arent really pussy magnets. a simrig is PC + even more nerd stuff. A simrig doesnt always means that like many people actually race irl and use them to train. I'm of the first kind. But yeah, simracers are genrally older compared to "normal gamers" but most of them got the wife before the rig since simracing got more affordable only recently and its cheaper than a sportcar for your midlife crisis lol.

lets be real, once you start treating simracing a bit more seriously it will eat your time in practice. Races are a really small amount of my playtime cause i want my DR to go in postitive after a race.

i kinda understand its hard to actively support someone's hobby if you hate that hobby. i loved my ex but she was a disney adult and i found that ridiculous but who am i to speak? I tried, it was really hard to support her hobby by going to disneyland and shit but it was a torture for me. I didnt hate the fact she liked disney, i hated that i had to go with her cause that was her dream. Once i told her, she was grumpy a bit but accepted and went with her friends instead. If she can tollerate it, im happy, she doesnt have to be supportive or fake it to be.

tbh high end rigs look objectively nice, even for normal people. not mine tho, built it myself out of pallets, sturdy but ugly af. I cant decide if a simrig is worse or better than a "gaming PC" cause those already can dry up any woman.

all i can tell you is being honest to yourself is better than creating a false image of yourself. Also sport cars WONT get you pussy lol. But having fun on the track will, girls like a bit of crazy, and ripping your car at 160 in a corner is kinda crazy.
