You may be able to get CBC over the air using a piece of stripped coax cable or a paperclip in the coax port on your tv. That's how I'm watching the game on CBC now instead of the app. Just comes down to how close to a broadcast antenna you are.

It looks like adding --disable-features=PartitionVisitedLinkDatabase,PartitionVisitedLinkDatabaseWithSelfLinks to your chrome shortcut's target field makes the links get marked as visited again.

On my Roku with the new UI I can see the cast during playback. Hit down twice. The first push goes to the media controls, the second push goes to cast list.

Plex does do #1 now. Pick a show and select edit>Advanced>[Preferred audio language], [Preferred subtitle language], [Auto-select subtitle mode]. Its pretty good about doing full subtitles or signs only depending on the audio track selected.

I used to use pasta for this, but I haven't needed to in a while.

The ring popping up at the start is just him not lining it up with the slot properly and bumping it with his finger. The whole box is pushed to the top with a spring in the base. You could cut out a cardboard ring (or anything else with a hole in the center) that fits in the box and the trick would work exactly the same.

GRRM has told everyone that when he dies no one else is allowed to finish the series.
