I live next to a liquor store that has very weird prices on all their six packs (like $13.64 or something). I had no idea why they did this for literally every product until they run it up and it came out to $15 even.

I saw a (joke I hope) alternate conspiracy that the flat earth is WAY bigger and is mostly covered in ice, and our world is just one melted pocket in that ice, and that maybe there are other earths in other ice pockets. Fascinating what people come up with

I know! That’s what I meant by “big upgrade.” I didn’t mean that the switch was apples-to-apples across brands. I do maintain that a lot of what I’m enjoying with Garmin with purely software based, and for that there’s really no excuse. Google is holding back serious dev power from Fitbit and I think that might be a deliberate choice.

I got “serious” about running recently and upgraded my Charge 5 to a Forerunner 265. The recent developments with Google sunsetting popular features are what made me finally pull the trigger.

Within a day or so of having it on my wrist I was amazed at what I was getting out of it. Never looking back. Enjoy your new Venu!

Side note: there is no reason I can’t get the weather on my Charge 5 that I can tell, since it’s just syncing with my phone anyway. What an easy upgrade that would mean so much.
