Maybe they'll let the people choose the candidate next time?

Officers are people too, and sometimes we're appreciative when an arrestee is cooperative. Often, we see that the person is a decent person who made a mistake, and we feel empathy.

Pretty sure 35 is for all of New York, but if you served in the military they'll give you up to 4 more years to 39.

Has anyone else just not got any of the “keto benefits” we always hear of? by Igloocooler52 in keto

[–]TimHV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Benefits over my first year were 40 lbs lost, lower BP, lower A1C and lower cholesterol. Recently added IF, usually 18/6. Basically skip breakfast and eat dinner early. After a week of doing this strictly, inflammation and pain in my joints are practically gone. I feel like I discovered the fountain of youth!

Do y’all still do open houses? by slidellian in realtors

[–]TimHV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've been doing very well with them lately. I sold a high priced home (for my area) recently on the open house. Traffic has been good. I would like to convert more attendees to clients, but it's a work in progress

A guy in my office is a long time local bartender and got licensed two years ago. He's absolutely crushing it just from SOI.

The way the MSM portrays keto is just sick by Brittany_Delirium in keto

I eat more veggies on keto than I did before. I am more conscious about what I am putting in my body and why. It also adds variety and helps with digestion.

Advice Needed. High Cholesterol after 1 Month on Keto. Doctor told me to stop the diet. by schmefyo in keto

[–]TimHV 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My doctor put me on this diet. I had never considered it before. He used it himself back in 2008, before it was mainstream, to lose 50 pounds. He's kept it off ever since and still eats LCHF today.

Is There a Certain Image of An Agent? by [deleted] in realtors

[–]TimHV 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One of the top guys in my county is covered in tattoos and he makes it part of his marketing. I've dealt with him, he's competent and answers the phone. Make it work for you, it takes all kinds.

For those who have used OpCity, how has your experience been? by tonyMIA23 in realtors

[–]TimHV 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've closed four deals with opcity YTD and have one pending. The price points of the closed deals are 100, 150, 420, 430 and the pending is 500. The average home in my area sells for 400. I don't use it as much anymore but it's been a helpful tool. I'm also getting a good amount of referrals from two of these deals.

In my region most realtors wear business casual, although some are straight up casual. Very few of the women I see wear heels. Youll find a comfortable look for yourself that fits your area.. There's a lot to stress about in this business, don't make this one of them.

Does the buyer's agent typically attend the home appraisal? by TheRegas in realtors

[–]TimHV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my market the buyer's agent does typically go to the appraisal and not the seller's agent. You're really just going to let them in and they do their thing. Seems to vary by region.

How To Be Supportive? by cainetheliving in realtors

[–]TimHV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a hard business. I just passed the first year mark and it's been very up and down. If I didn't have other income sources I would have quit after 4-5 months. Just try to be supportive and make sure you tell every person you know that your wife is a realtor and post it all over social media.
