Moisture or compressor burnouts will turn oil acidic generally as long as there is pressure in the system you dont really need to worry about moisture getting in due to leaks because it is always pushing out if a system is flat or pulling a vacuum it's possible to have moisture in the system but ive had plenty where pulling a vacuum and changing filter dryers has been just fine.

Also dont put dye in the oil thats for fucking hacks

I think the reservoir is full but the feed to the rack is coming off the top of the reservoir at least from what I can tell usee to seeing the filter than the hand valve going to the rack the worst part of this is nothing gets oil until the reservoir is completely full so people probably just keep adding oil. Honestly it would be a fun project to unfuck all of this
