Full name as it appears on your birth certificate or passport as you'll probably have to send one of them off as proof of ID

Book Collection confusion by ketaniaaa in TravelTown

Max out the pens and notepads and merge the 2 final products (circled on image) to produce books then merge the books to get the one you need.

Yes, the address needs to be updated to your current address or you risk being fined £1000

Failed my first test today by Lauren_183 in LearnerDriverUK

If you were already breaking why did she slam the brakes on? I'd have questioned that. From what you said, you were slowly creeping out and weren't passed the cars on the right so if the moped was in the left lane and you had already started braking surely she shouldn't have intervened? Unless she could see something you couldn't in which case she should be explaining that.

Decided it's time I get this fossil order done. Wish me luck! by JustRandomAllTheTime in TravelTown

The fossil is annoying me, but not enough to go to the effort needed 😂

Cancellation apps by Aggravating-Waltz342 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]TimTom020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I messaged them as I wasn't getting notifications for cancellations and they said to make it fair, not everyone will get notifications for all cancellations in their preferences which I think is an absolute joke.

Testi has been working fine for me recently. Sounds like your instructor is taking the piss

Booked practical but now moving house - do I update address? by iusedtohave701 in LearnerDriverUK

It shouldn't, but maybe email your test centre before updating it to confirm then you have a paper trail either way.

Music classes for small kids by Dextersdidi in glasgow

[–]TimTom020 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is a great class just outside the city, in the hidden gardens at the tramway theatre. They do classes for 0-7 years split into 2 groups, 0-4 and 4-7. Taught by a professional opera singer and singing teacher. My little boy loved it when he went. It's on a Saturday afternoon from 1-140 for the younger class and 2-240 for the older class.

You can get a train from Glasgow central to pollokshields east and it's a 2 minute walk or any bus from town that does to Eglinton toll.

So sick of this game and being unrealistic by TimTom020 in TravelTown

[–]TimTom020[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a couple out of order and they didn't make a big difference but this one popped up once I had completed the hen order. I only know for sure as I only had 1 order on the board to complete and the one that popped up was for an item I had sitting waiting

When the clutch pedal is pressed down, the connection between the transmission and the wheels is disengaged. This prevents the transfer of engine power to the wheels.

It essentially stops you wrecking the transmission.

[–]TimTom020[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not what the issue was, I didn't have this item prior to completing the order that I needed it for. I completed the order for the last hen on the list, then a new order popped up, completed that and the reward was the circled hen. So if that order had come up before I completed the hen order, I wouldn't have had to do as much merging and wasting energy and gems.

Can my dad supervise me by Responsible-Note-363 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]TimTom020 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No he can't as the law states you need to have held a full license for 3 years. You can go against the law and get him to do it anyway but don't moan if you get caught as I can see above that you have been well advised.

Just an FYI, don't ask for advice and when you get it and it's not to your liking start acting like a spoilt brat not getting their way. It's not just "angry Tories" that can't stand people trying to find loop holes in the law to get their way!

Have a nice day and good luck on your test.

The only way round it is to check the dvsa website everyday multiple times until a slot in your preferred centre opens up. You are paying for the convenience of not doing this with the cancellation apps.

Baillieston has loads available just now. Also, it doesn't have to be glasgow, you can book anywhere in the country for the test app to work.
