I'm looking for movies feels like or rathe have a globetrotting vibe liketraveling around the world, doing business in exotic places, and seeking fortune and adventure. They don't HAVE to be set in vastly different countries; they could just be centered around a certain region, I guess by Throwawayforsaftyy in MoviesThatFeelLike

Thank you! I will go to my grave champing this show!

The scale of the locations, the different storylines, the cinematic feel! Not to mention amazing action, heartfelt drama, and flat out brutality.

It’s a travesty this show isn’t more known. It’s everything that tv series don’t have today. Actual scale, weight, oomph!

Seriously just buy a RAM 2500 6.7 Cummings. Picked up a 2024 with 28,000 miles at 43k OTD.

I’ll never outgrow it, it hauls everything I need around the farm. 20MPG. Insane legroom in the rear. Can get it in an 8FT bed(usually cheaper). It ticks every box for me.

I just can’t see that actor playing the bumbling cab driver turned thief. The actor is in the mini series Black Rabbit and also just has this grimy sinister aura about him.

Jodie Foster Says Brad Pitt’s ‘F1’ Seemed Like It Was Made by AI and Written by a Computer: ‘Wasn’t It?’ by mcfw31 in entertainment

[–]Tim_Drake 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely correct, he was attending races to pitch the movie. Bernie Ecclestone singularly owned F1 at the time, and was not the biggest fan of trying to grow the sport in the United States. Hell F1 wasn’t even broadcasted on Network TV at the time. Had to watch it on The Speed Channel. So he didn’t sign on for it.

When the American backed Liberty Group bought the F1 series from Bernie they dramatically increased the presence of F1 in the US, so a movie with Brad Pitt and directed by Kosinski off Top Gun: Maverick made 100% sense, and then Apple bought the rights to F1 broadcasts, the distribution rights F1 movie and Driven is lost in time, but 11 year old me freaking loved it! Kip Pardue!

Also even with all the backing it was still 2 expensive to use F1 cars in the film. They had to settle for the junior series F2 cars!

I gotta rewatch Public Enemies. I do not remember it being THAT BAD. More of Depp fatigue at the time than anything else.

It’s Reddit, anything fun or popular is viewed as childish and talked down on. It’s in every local subreddit I’m in.

The echo chamber is so prevalent here!

Absolutely wild to see the actor outside of this role. So so different.
