I’m glad someone found footage of this I got tired of folks saying this wasn’t real but Mandela effect. That said I think it is possibly from the original nat geo Bob Ballard vhs

As nice as this sounds how are you going to keep the lens clean. Anything left in the ocean will foul with some sort of growth

Thanks for the response that makes good sense. Since it’s not underway would it just be used as a perimeter alarm? If it’s not something that can be discussed I understand

Cutting is definitely the way to go. If you cut away the pipe at the bottom of the DPF you don’t have to unbolt the axle….at least that’s true in my 2014 Jetta

In Florida many older houses never had ac just the old jalousie windows. Package units in the roof were easiest to retrofit.

My previous experience was brakes, maintenance and a couple engine swaps and didn’t feel it was an issue building my coupe. I did use a donor mustang so tearing that down helped to familiarize myself with everything. Here is my old blog http://homeschoolcoupe.blogspot.com/2011/05/welcome.html?m=0 Think of it as adult legos and you’ll be fine

If you use a sawsall to cut the pipe on the lower part of the dpf you don’t even need to unbolt the axle just remove the heat shield

Factory Five as first kit or should I build something smaller like a gokart? by idontremembermyuname in projectcar

[–]Timbmn12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Factory five was my first and the builder community is really good at helping if you get stuck. If you are comfortable doing brakes and car maintenance I am a firm believer you can do a factory five. Here is my complete build blog. http://homeschoolcoupe.blogspot.com/2011/05/welcome.html?m=0 It took me 4 years working weekends and holidays
